:joint: This my garden's architecture. i have no fan currently due to lack of funds. this is in a closet and i try to keep the door open for exhaust. the red lines are where i have reflective cardboard separating the two stages of light.i have nothing in front of these plants bc i figured i needed some exhaust especially without a fan. my question is: will this be a problem having one plant in veg and 5 others right next to it in flowering? heres a picture i drew of my garden.. :joint:

You need to make sure that the flowering section is pitch black during their dark cycle. No light, what so ever. I got into my old grow closet and sealed it while the door was shut and the light out to make sure no light came in. I used duct tape and weather sealing strips.

I don't think it's going to work well for you that way. No light leaks for flowering - a cardboard barrier isn't going to cut it. They also require fresh air - a fan is a must, both for that, and strengthening the stems - even a cheap $5 fan will help.

If you don't ventilate it they won't grow well and you may have problems with mold. At night they release waste gases which need to be vented off also. You should really have a constant supply of fresh air from the bottom and exhaust for heat and stale air at the top. Buying a fan would only be a band-aid until you got something better. Once you get the air right you will notice a huge difference in growth.

yeah.. im starting to agree with y'all..i need pitch black for the flowering ones..the one in veg is about 2 and half weeks old..ive decided to just put it in with the flowering ones even though its really small.. i just dont want to fuck up the 5 flowering ones. and i know i know my next purchase is a fan. and i just started the flowering cylce today so i should be good. thanks for the words of wisdom.
