1 week into flowering

My girl started sproutin white hairs everywhere about a week ago. I leave it outside for 12hours and bring it in for 12 hours everyday...right on schedule to the exact minute. She is about 3.5-4ft tall. I was wondering how long before I start to see some buds and how long from now before I harvest....I don't want to get too greedy. I haven't pruned or topped it since this is my first grow and I want to take one step at a time. Let me know fellas...Thanks

well the white hairs are the BUDS.. LOL... sort of...
You see the little pod that the white hairs are coming out of.. well that is the "bud".. when shite loads of those pods start forming you will begin to recognize the form as what you call a "BUD"....

Usually, 2 weeks after the first hair is spotted... the plant will have BUDS. that look like BUDS... lol.... the kind you are used to paying $50 dollars an 1/8 for.. LOL

its true he does... But I dont know... I think hes being a bit vague... It could be misinterpreted that he said it will be ready to harves in 2 weeks...

ooopss... sorry if it is interpreted that way.... Plants are definitely not ready to harvest 2 weeks after the first hairs are seen... nor do I know if his plants will be ready to harvest in 2 weeks...

Although... it may be safe to say that the plant has reached at least 50% of its flowering time when the hairs start to turn brown (3-6 weeks) ....

Paying attention to the trichomes you should be able to tell within a few days when it's nice and ready to chop n' hang. =p But yah 2 weeks.. no.. the trics hardly had anytime to fill and get potent =p

Thanks all, I appreciate the advice...I've heard that you you gotta harvest no later than 5 days after the hairs start to turn brown...is that true? I just don't want to miss my window of the chopping it with the highest potency...let me know. Thanks all

I believe that you should wait until at least 3/4 of the hairs turn brown or the tricomes are more than half milky white.obviously the latter u need a eyepiece to view...but ya..at least 3/4 of hairs not half.......i believe that half the hairs being brown means that the BUD is only half produced you have another half of growing left.....smoke on..peace

no, that is not true... sometimes hairs turn brown..3 -5 weeks before harvest.. you will see broen hairs soon... :)

my plant has started sprouting out hairs like crazy does this mean its going into flowering state, also will my hermi bud still if i cut off the tops of the plant were there were male balls?

Hi Fatherhood!
Just checking to see if I understand correctly....
If my plant has taken 4 / 4.5 weeks for majority hairs turning brown, you're saying It's only half the size and to keep it going for another 4 / 4.5 weeks?

Yea one time I had half of my hairs brown in the 1st week of flowering... but that was also because there werent a ton of hairssssss.

the last one looks male to me. the other are females :)

you can put it somewear else and let the pollen sacks fatten a little... and than you can make hash, oil, butter, crack... depends on how much you get and what you want to do and how much money you have...
