I'm growing BUKU right now also, (freebie from attitude)

I've heard lots of negative things about this strain and the genetics. Both of my seedlings had birth defects, and one actually died a couple days ago. All the leaves turned yellow, and then came the brown spots..then eventually it wouldn't stand up any more.

I wouldn't be surprised if you got one with bad genetics. THSeeds is known for their poor breeding.

it looks strong and healthy just some light leaves, I'm thinking its a nute problem, I'm using Buddha grow, and pro-tekt, also the root boost, i have it oh a 15g bucket in a4x4x6 tent with a 600w hps, digital ballast, 8" exhaust fan 2 6" clip ons one blowing on the reflect the other slightly above the tip of the canopy.

Its hard to advise without pics, it could be a million things ...
We need to know if you're in veg or flower
watering sched and ppms would be nice :)
is the plant planted in the 15gal bucket or just sitting on the bucket?
How big is your plant?
A wild guess it's either nitrogen toxicity(too much will cause the leaves to darken in color) or your nitrogen deficient causing the leaves to be lighter...

The plant is 2 weeks old. It's planted in a 15 gallon bucket. It's over a foot tall already, I'm on a 2 gallon every other day water schedule with a 1 1/2 tsp of Buddha grow, and 1tsp of protekt and a 1/4 tsp of root booster for my 5 gallon watering bucket each time I use only water every third watering, and what is PPMS by the way? This is only my second time growing, I have pics of my first and this one but can't figure out how to get em on here off my phone

I can only make suggestions because U dont have pics. I'm sure there is a way to get the photos off of your phone, just do a lil research. it sounds like you've got a hell of a lot of work ahead of you.

Overwatering can cause yellowing, but I also think you're overdoing the nutes right now. "Dark green" isnt good for leaves, too much nitrogen causes Dark green leaves, and may stunt the plant instead of encourage growth. Watering 2 gallons every other day "should be" fine as long as the runoff water drains quickly. I would scale back until the plant matures - consider feeding less water without nutes for a couple more weeks.

You may also want to start off in a smaller container. Also, PPM means "parts per million" - it allows people to determine the quality of your water, and the strength of your nutrients.

Here is a DVD series that I think will be good for you:

yes it does when its in a15 gallon bucket. and when its over a foot tall at only 13 days since being potted, obviously it does, the watering isn't the issue fyi, found that out by an old schooler

if you had a huge container you would only need to water once every week or two i dont care what you say.

You can text msg your pics to your email, then download and upload them, just type your email address where you would normally put a phone number for a new text msg

Just as a general rule, the bigger the container is in relation to the plant, the less often you have to water. If you let the soil dry in between waterings it encourages the roots to spread to search for new water. Even with a 13 inch plant, in a 15 gallon container there is no way it needs watering every 2 days unless you are potted in just pure pearlite or coco with no soil at all. Wait to water til the soil is completely dry to the depth of your second knuckle, that's a good rule of thumb. If it really is drying out that fast, you have a serious temperature/humidity issue

just because someone grew pot a long time ago doesnt make them an expert if thats what your "oldschooler" is
