Been awhile since I checked this thread...I watched the video and am curious..you have the co2 pumping in the room but your temps are way below what they need to be at for co2 to be processed fully as your ambient air temp needs be no less then 80-85 F for co2 usage to be utilized so it looked like you had the room set to like 72 with lights on which means your co2 is basically in effective did I read the temps wrong or do you have the temps in the 80s? Also I saw you have the a/c vented out of the room and down low. Co2 is is heavier then air so it falls to the floor where you have ytour a/c units which then gets suckked right out of the room so all the co2 is constantly being removed. Co2 being heavier should be dropped from above the plants with fans near the floor blowing the lower air straight back up and your a/c units should be up higher so the cold air falls cooling the room more efficeitn whil the unit grabs the hot air that has risen higher out of the room with as little wasted co2 as possible...Got a lot of cool stuff but would be great to see you maximize your area as looks like what 4 to 60 plants per table and looks like no trimming or thinning of the lower stuff so lots of valuable space wasted and hurts the yield by not thinning the lower mess. Maybe next round we will see the space used more to its potential...How much was the hydro gens
Hey what up Fletch!! Yeah Bro, good lookin out and thanks for the advice!!
Good pointers all. Vid was taken when lights first came on, so temps were still a little low, but yeah I've had it dialed in to about 76 - 80 during the on cycle. I knew that you could RUN at higher temps w/ Co2, but didn't realize that there was an OPTIMAL range for absorbtion. First time runnin Co2, so I guess I'm still a newb with that. Never too old to learn!!!
As for the crappy portable A/C's, they were just a stop-gap measure that we went with initially due to funds. Yeah, they shoulda been up in the air, but they really just need to be gone. They served their purpose, but they suck heniously, they DO transfer air/Co2/odor right out of your room, and they are a pain in the ass to drain.
Oh well. After this round were gettin a mini-split A/C, 24 - 34k btu, and then we'll be runnin a true sealed room with no air transfer.
We're also addin a couple more lights to the middle, and believe me bro, i tried keepin up on the trimming!!! Removed a shit load of low growth, but they just out-grew me, damn fast. Again, oh well, just means more duff for the hash/oil/kief making.
Lots of stuff still to do, and I'll be constantly trying to better/correct certain aspects of the grow, but i welcome your advice and thank you for it.
Peace!
I hear you bro. Thinking about just irrigating myself. Times they are a changin'...
I'll be watching and dreaming about your op while I'm out there in the hot sun.
Take care youngun'
Remember, lift with your legs, hydrate, and apply the sunscreen Brother!!!
