10.5 weeks flowering... good to harvest???

this is my first cfl bagseed grow.. i know a lot of you dont like cfls, but due to cash and space issues, this is all i had to work with... its been in 12-12 for 10.5 weeks. 9 weeks from showing sex. ive been flushing w molasses and RO water for 1.5 weeks.. ive got about 20% amber trichomes the rest are foggy and very few clear with a 60x... i wanna harvest so bad i jus wanna make sure it looks ok to all you mj connoisseurs.. dont wanna be one of those early harvesters! i guess im planning on cutting on friday (4 days), and i just need some opinions for some piece of mind i think.. any comments or insults welcome..

i also used a lil extra nitrogen at the end to help the buds plump up during the flushing stage, thats why the leaves are still kinda green... n e one have n e suggestions or comments???

have you check the trichromes with a microscope? looks good, but might need just a few more days..

radioshack has a 60x-100x microscope you can use, its $9.99... it will give you peak harvest and let you know what kind of high you'll get.

thats funny cuz i just refered that same forum to sum1 else just today.... and in my first post i stated that i checked the trichs with a 60x scope and theyre 5% clear, 75% cloudy, and 20% amber... i just wanna know if my girl looks mature enough to harvest on friday... thanx for the rep tho!!!

If 20% are amber, I'd chop it. Then I looked at your pics.

...the trich on the uppermost buds will be first to trun amber.
Some harvest in stages. The uppermost buds get clip'd first....leaving the middle and lower buds to amber up for another week. One week later, clip'd the middle buds...and continue into the last week of lower buds. I've heard good results with this method. Good luck.

thanx for your posts! i checked the trichs in the middle of one of the main colas (i have 5). i practiced LST. and they were 15-20% amber.. so ok to chop on friday then??

the leaves dying and the amber trichs should tell you to harvest..the drying leaves are the sugars being taken for the final stages of bud production so id say yes...if youve been adding nitro

They're ready to harvest whenever you are, but I'd definitely do it by the end of this week at the latest. Looks like it'll be some killer smoke!!!!!!!!!!!
