This is my first attempt at growing anything....so I thought I would post a pic to see if it is looking ok.

I don't really want to share my grow details because it is too embarassing. Let's just say I am doing it on a huge budget. But it's just for fun.

Any feedback would be great!

Ha...wow I totally worded that wrong. :joint:

I meant that I am broke and decided to start all of this for fun.

My setup is pathetic...that's why I didn't want to share.

I am just doing the basics, so far. Little light (the wrong spectrum I found out), little water (distilled), little air (just a fan blowing).

I was just curious if she looked like she was doing well. I still don't know how to read when she needs something. Any feedback is great.

Hey man don't feel bad, I probably doing as good as you or worst. I'm using only a 29 watt 3 way CFL, distilled water in a PC case with just a little comp fan blowing on it, and so far so good looks green as hell and bigger than expected, but I think I'm having a slight prob with mite though. So what kind of light you using it looking about like mine is, not to bad dude, we'll show em that we can do it on the bare minimum lol.

I grew two plants under 4 X 23W CFLs from start to finish. Buds were light but a decent smoke. I think it's the best way to start because it's a small investment in case you decide you're not a farmer.

I'm not a big fan of distilled water. I've been told it can actually leach nutrients away from the plants. I use bottled spring water and have never had a problem (my tap water has too many additives). It's the same price as distilled where I get it.

Check out the GrowFaq at the top of the page. Lots of great info for beginners!

So far so good with the distilled water. I started with regular tap water, but the ph was WAY too high when I tested it.

The plant responded really well when I changed the water. Maybe the bottled water would be even better. I just chose distilled because I had some. Thanks for the advice.
