so ive got 1 600w at minute 1 week in flower im gonna put another 600w light focusin on bottom of the plant would it hermie if i put the bottom light on for just 6 hours a day any opinions welcome thanks

i think it could happen if they are not autos but i am not sure i never try that
i tried one time to switch of the light in flowering cycle for one hours a day and i got some hermy but that was what i wanted to make some fem seeds

chhers pal i think it could turn them hermy but i dont want this i want max light but cant have the 2nd light running alltime you see

I dont think it would make them hermy. its just getting dimmer not dark.

thats what i was also rthinking it would kind of be like the sun moving and lighting the shady bits

What size is your space? I have had friends cool 2 600's in a 4x4 tent no problem with decent ventalation. Are you running any ventilation? 10 3 week vegged plants should be in at least a 4x4.

I am running 2 600s in 4x4 tent right now. One is open good other is air cooled. It never gets over 81 in there.

Just focus on the top. The bottom will most likely just popcorn and be a minor gain. More light up top bigger buds.
