I'm 10 weeks into flowering and it seems that I'm nowhere near the end of this. What could be the problem?

DWC
2-airstones inside of resivior
2-Plants 1 is Grape Ape the other is just bag seed
Grew both from seed Using Botanicare ProGrow then switch to Botanicare Probloom about 1 week ago i started using Atami Bloomtastic.

Also should metion I vegged under a 150W HPS until it reached 12" and started the flowering under this as well but switched to a 600W HPS about 2 weeks ago. They look healthy i've had a few issues with these plants but nothing i didn't fix immediately and it was never anything severe. PLEASE HELP!!!:wall:

Check your timer and make sure you aren't on 14 hrs? Some strains take 14+. Longer the wait better the bud (lets hope at least).

I am positive it's on a 12/12 i have a digital timer. so I should basically just assume they started flowering 2 weeks ago? They actually started showing bud formation around that time as well. Thanks for all the help

imo yes, i would time ur end harvest "suggested time" for ur strain from that point. remember though, ultimately u will harvest based on ur trichomes & slowed bud growth at the end.

Here they are finally, The first is the Grape Ape the second is bagseed and the third is both of them together
you are definately malnourished. the cause can be ph imbalance or not enough nutes, and /or read on. im guessing ph. next issue what size is your rez and air pump? roots need a lot of oxygen and when the ph is right absorbtion is at peak. if your roots look milky or gunky youll have problems. next...any seed thats not a verifiable lineage is prone to defects and is a small lotto if you get something decent. you may have the one defect inherent in that strain as it is bagseed and wasnt the product of consistent breeding practices. this will be a loss most likely however welcome to our world:-o

remember no one can give u a time of harvest....only u can determine that by examining the trichomes with a mag glass & harvesting at the color range for the kind of "high/stone" u desire. also u should notice a considerable slow down for a few days in ur bud growth right after the final 2 weeks in which ur bud growth should be at its peak.

Thanks for the help. Yeah my rez is kinda on the small side and my air pump sucks, but after this harvest thinking about switching to a ebb & flow system any opinions or suggestions about that type of setup? Was thinking 3x3 flood table with a 25 gallon rez.

Yeah that's what I thought too but i did just upgrade my light a little over 2 weeks ago and they have shown great improvement since then. It's getting a little fustrating but i hear patience is the key to a good grow so hopefully my next one will be better.

If your plants are malnourished they can actually take longer to flower. Manganese is one that will slow down flowering if it's deficient. Other than that I really don't know man. I would actually throw those outside for 12hrs a day then bring it in for the night and finish them that way so I could start over with new seeds/clones. PS having a weak light doesn't lengthen your flowering time significantly, meaning it wasn't because you only had 150 watts that it's taking so long. Flowering time is the same length under a 150 watt as it is under a 400, 600, or 100 watt (maybe like a week or two longer if your using cfl's or t-5's for flowering).

Yea... 150w is nothing for flowering . the 600 will get em going for sure . They look a little stretched but not very bad .. its just from having that 150 watt light ... they wanted more - lol . As for harvesting most just watch the hair and shoot for between 50 to 80 % dark hairs on the main cola bud . Some get a magnifier and watch the trichs themself for a little more precise harvesting .... clear is early , cloudy with some still clear is usually associated with the head high while mostly amber with some cloudy leans more to the body buzz kinda high . I like to try and catch the midway with a little of both myself . Of course i have to mention after all that time waiting , dont cheat yourself .. take the time to cure it ( its so worth the wait ) of course we all try some early but its so much better after a slow cure ... good luck - hope its good and danky for ya : )

Everything is looking good right now. Can't take them outside live in the middle of the city. I'll finish the grow on this post here and show what happens and the final results. So everybody roll a couple up and enjoy the ride.:bigjoint:
