I found 2 seeds in my old jewelry box that has to be at least 10 years old. What do you think the chances are they will sprout? I'm trying just for the nostalgia.

take an emery board like you would use for your nails and GENTLY GENTLY GENTLY rough up the husk of the seed. The main reason seeds become unviable is that the husk hardens to the point where water cant penetrate it to start the germ process the roughing of the husk basically (i call it a glaze imagine a donut and you want to get to the doughy part without penetrating the crust underneath the glaze) allows you to remove the glazing from it sitting for years and it softens it up enough to draw in water. Still it may not work but thats your best bet usually for really old seeds.

If I get a plant I will call it "Old Daze" LOL I can't remember if I kept them on purpose, back in the day seeds weren't so uncommon. Back, back in the day we used our favorite Led Zeppelin album to clean the seeds out of a bag. Oh the good ol' days hehehe

You have an excellent chance of the seeds germinating. I once sprouted a few seeds that had been in a jewelry box for about 12 years. They grew just like they were supposed to and smoked good too.
