What's happening fellow growers ! Hope everyone is staying safe and doing there part in this pandemic we got going on....

This year I'll be growing
lemongrass by Humboldt seed company
Triple stuffed by exotic genetix
Along with a few others I haven't decided on yet !

Last year i grew the blueberry muffin in 100 gallon pots but didnt have the amount of sun i needed to really make a huge difference... IMG_20190917_224739_579.jpg

This year I have an entire back yard I can grow but on the edge of town so I gotta keep plant numbers a bit lower lol...

My main question is should I go with 100 gallon smart pots or 200 gallon smart pots?

If I went with 100 gallon smart pots I could potentially have 4 plants cause I have 400 gallons of medium. Or 2 200 gallon pots... what would y'all do ?
Btw my medium Is made of aged cow manure pro mix added peat and perlite worm castings and added real growers recharge to it when I watered everything in. Now I'm letting it set out and bake under a black tarp. Was gonna throw some megacrop in and let that absorb in. What are your thoughts?

Plant them in the ground, then you have infinite gallons of soil. I've never seen a plant grown in a smart pot get as big as plants grown directly in the soil. But, if you are not trying to grow huge plants or if you are not in a place where you can tear up your back yard, then I would say 200 gallon smart pot. That's my opinion.

Smart pots are pretty great, some people make their own. I don't know where they get the fabric, but I've always thought that would be a cool way to go.

In your case I would go with the 100 gallon for four plants total. I like to surround my smart pots with straw or hay so the sun doesn't dry out the front of the smart pots kinda like mulching. If you can get another 400 gallons of soil get the 200g smart pots.
