So Acorn did some bad shit. They're not, like, the Democratic Party. The head of the Republican Party in Florida hired a software developer to rig the voting machines there. The developer thought he was working for the good guys. He figured that he was being asked to write the software so that the security hole could be closed. But when he asked the wife of the guy who hired him, she said, "Oh no! That's so we don't lose! It's very important that we *win* this election!' The developer, aghast at the depths to which his own party would sink, quit the party. I think he's running as an independent himself now, after giving testimony under oath about the attempted voter fraud to the courts.

Yes, and Democrats routinely pay for votes under the guise of their Get Out The Vote campaigns. Also, we can't forget the undead voting in California, and Texas. Don't neglect to mention the felons, illegal immigrants and other people who felt so inclined to do their patriotic duty that they had to vote twice. We also shouldn't neglect the votes of the comatose, they woke up just to vote before returning to their comatose states.
But those examples are from both parties, not some fringe group. (Mostly Democrats ironically, which has historically been the party of voter fraud.)

Hah, yeah, I read that the Dems were feeding the homeless. Not to get them to vote for Obama, but just to vote at all. But I'd imagine your average homeless person isn't all that enamored with Bush and, by association, McCain. I actually think that's pretty cool, feeding starving homeless people, and then driving them to the polls. Nobody knows what they vote for, so they could easily vote for McCain and yell, "Ah hah!" like Nelson. I'm just glad someone's out there helping the hopeless. Regardless of the motivation.
I assume Republicans aren't doing the same thing because, well, they wouldn't get the votes to make it worth their while to feed the hungry, since it's probably their fault that these people *are* homeless. A little cold-blooded, to think like that, but that's politics. A dead homeless person is better than a voting one, if you're a Republican.
