i know what your saying. different lighting will also give the pic some appealing colors.
I have been using a 400 watt mh and I was going to get a hps that will work with my mh ballats is there a bulb I can get with both light spectrums that will work in my mh ballats or do I have to buy a new light?bongsmilie

i beleive you can get a full spectrum MH bulb. pricey though
i think you can get an HPS conversion bulb that will work in the MH

theres a 400w hps industrial fixture on ebay that you can get for under 50 bucks including shipping if your in the states. pm me if you want the item # and ill send it to you.

Yo diddy check out the eye hortilux bulbs its called a super blue and it has shps and the mh in the same bulb and I believe you can use either or ballasts to ignite. I think its 400w mh/600w shps in one bulb.

Um I havent gotten the chance yet I bought two brand new EYE HORTILUX Bulbs and then found out about them. EYE HORTILUX is the maker of the bulb. These bulbs are supposed to be almost unparalleled by any other bulb on the market. Ive been running a 400w mh and a 600w shps bulbs together on my 8 females right now since they were seedlings and they are growing crazily. Both bulbs are EYE HORTILUX. No Complaints!!

Hellz ya some growers say its the missing link to indoor growing it makes an almost perfect spectrum, versus mh in veg and hps for flower theres no comparison.

I got a 400 MH eye hortilux tha I accedently bought thinking it was a conversion bulb. Fucking thing was almost 70$ and they wouldnt take it bck because the warranty date had already been scratched into the socket. I just bought it last month and I'll sell it really cheap.
