If you can't figure out how to vent a room, you are going to have a lot of trouble growing weed.

I honestly don't know how hanging a fan and ducting is so confusing to you. If any thing, thats the easiest part of setting up a grow room.

And as far as magnetic ballasts go,
they are not outdated and pointless. Yes there is better technology out there, but if someone is only using the ballast for flower, why would they need it to be able to run MH and HPS? Why not save $100 on the ballast.

Saying they are outdated and pointless is like saying that desktop computers are outdated and pointless since there are laptops. But not everyone needs to take their computer with them, so the desktop fits the bill.

Same with ballasts. Not everyone needs a switchable ballast. Some of us have seperate veg rooms so we only need HPS ballasts for flower. For the price of one digital HPS ballast, I could get two magnetic HPS ballast kits.

Thank you for wording this out better. I guess I should have in my post. That's all I was saying is they are cheaper and make your whole op more cost effective. The money saved can be put into many different things and I know there are other benefits to elect. ballasts just stating when I think of building a flower room I'm thinking reliable long lasting HPS ballasts not so much whether they are magnetic or elect.

Also checked that link out and where did you get 4 600w elect ballast & bulbs for 245$? That's a great deal that most probably won't find but I must say that is an impressive op.

Yes where did you get 4 600watt lights with bulbs for $254? If that is each, then its not such a great deal. But if its for all 4 of them, then I will be buying like 10 of those bastards. Please let us know where you found digital ballasts with bulbs at under $70 each Filthy?

I paid $232 for my digital 600watt ballast with bulb shipped. And $150 for my 600watt ballast kit and bulb shipped, both from HTG supply.

Not sure where you guys shop but digital ballast are cheaper now then magnetic. I actaully get them very very cheap now as I am a hydro site owner now but even at other online hydro store a 600 watt digital can be found for $119 if just buying 1. Yeah let see a magnetic 40 lb ballast that is loud overheats, has hard starts and gives 30% less output and run 1 bulb to me is old useless technology when for half the cost you get a 8 lb digital ballast that runs silent. no heat,up to 30% more output and does instant light on softstarts for both hps and mh just makes more sense to me guess Im crazy thought to like less expense better output longer bulb life and cooler areas...And you comparison is way off. Its like you saying an old pentium 3 computer is as fast and as good as a new quad dual core computer. Both work but the new technology is way better except its cheaper for the new ballast not to mention saves about $45 on shipping cost

Every where I search, there are no ballasts for $119. You can get a magnetic ballast for that, but no where have I seen a digital that cheap. Please enlighten us so we can save as much money as you.

a thousand bones and 2 grow cabs one veg/moms and one flower from osh some hardware store dimensions 80"h 48"L 20 3/4"d which fits my two 5 site FF tubs and a perpetual harvest once a month or month in a half depending on strain.
600w digi from htg digi ph tds meter, 435cfm can fan and carbon filter. coolable hood 6 inch with a 235cfm can fan.... you need to do some research because I only spent a grand for all of this...the cabs are 130 a piece and that was shipped oh and don't forget ph up down blah blah and some other crap...... Don't lock yourself into one site thats all im saying Do your homework it really pays off!!!
