1.) What do you yield off your 1000watt? and what's your setup??

2.) Is 2lbs off this set-up feasible????(WILL NOT BE A FIRST TIME GROW)


16 plants (vegged for 3-4 weeks from seed), in 5 gallon pots, using fox farm soil and nutes, under an aircooled 1000watt(hortilux super hps)....all in a 4'9"x4'9" grow tent w/proper ventilation, proper temperature control, and no co2

Strain is going to be either Super Lemon Haze(greenhouse), Querkle(tga subcool), Blueberry(dutch passion) or Tangerine Dream(barneys farm)


Aprox. yield of 2oz+ per plant...?.?.?...

lol you can do 20-25 sog style plants under a 1k light.... were talking lil to no veg, single cola style,

it wont cover them after that kinda veg time....not effectively...you can easily grow a pound of dry and cured KILLER chronic with 1000w + a bunch of popcorn and trim.....well I do.

I use 1000's in a 4x4 tent.
Depends on the plant dude,kinda a stoopid question in it's totally dependant on the plant assuming the growers not floundering it.
Crosseyed nancy yields bout 3oz per plant after multiple tops during the veg.
The clubs yield 4 to 6 oz per plant,topped and trained.
Whitegirl yields bout 2 oz per plant,topped again.

a 1000 watter will be good for like a 6 x 6 area.... i would veg 4 female qwerkles for about 5 weeks from clone... scrog them... feed well, make sure temps and everything is withing range, and you could pull 6 oz off a scrogged plant like that.. maybe even more

You can fit 4x4 5gal buckets under a 1000w. A high-yielding strain, properly trained, can easily make over 3oz dry per plant w/o exceeding the bucket diameter by much. Sixteen plants at three ounces each. The math is easy when you think that for every ounce on each plant, those sixteen plants make a pound.

-and as others are pointing out, this is just a general 1000w setup and even more weight is possible.

sog style al b. fuct and many others pull 2lbs per 1000w light no prob. the strain also matters as well bro. a Scrog may work for you. 5gal pot is pretty large for that veg time I believe.

The grow room itself would not contain that many pots. Each 5 gal pot would take up almost 1 sq.ft. of area. Since the grow room/tent is approx. 23 sq. ft.,(4'9" X 4'9") crowding of that many pots would be problematic to say the least as it would leave very little room for growth and would seriously diminish light pentration and ultimately the potential yield. I would grow fewer, high quality plants.

1000w's are the only bulb we'd reccomend for stretchy hazes that can reach over 6'. We've thrown away some of what would have been extremely awesome bud because the 400's we use just couldn't handle them.

1.) So how many plants and how long of a Veg. under a 1000watt to get to the 2lb mark....and using what strain??

I read a post this dude had on here claiming to have achieved 4lbs off a single 1000watt and a 4x4 table

i would put 64 plants in 1 gallon 6 inch pots. veg for two weeks and put into bud. Alot of people get two plus a light doing it like that.
Trim the bottom for clones after two weeks for a differnt room or to sell. Dont lollipop clones with no veg as you lose yeild. But the two weeks veg will stretch and the bottoms wont do you any good.
I always veg for two weeks to get strong roots/ plants. The tops produce more so the more you can fit under one light.. the more you will get. 4 per sqaure foot is ideal.

I know this is old but these numbers are rediculously low! Right strain, 1000w, 4x4 tent, 5gal dwc, equals 2lb per plant without Co2. With Co2 you can pull 2.75lbs per plant. The strain has to be capable of 2+ lbs and the growers skills are just as important as any other factors. You have to train, either LST, Scrog, or Lollipop. My current plant has 16 huge main cola's and im only 1.5 weeks into flower. I keep ppms 1500-1600, drinks a gallon a day. 1000w Super HPS.

2lbs per plant in a 4x4 with a 1000w?

Not sure what I'll end up with but here is a multistrain 8 plant 4x4 with 1000w hps 180w cfl side lighting and adding another 600w hps tommorow..these are from day 33 and as u can see I'm not using a tent just a area of my basement20160617_112959.jpg 20160617_112913.jpg 20160617_112719.jpg

Vegged 7-8 weeks and topped 3 times plants are around 5ft without the pots and are lollipopped about 60% of the way up and also defoliating the large fan leaves blocking penetration....if I could do it over idda ran in a tent tho

Wow must've had that dialed in perfectly. Plants that big must've had huge roots I surprised you could get a gallon of fluid in the rez.
