Are you growing out the sugar black rose from Delicious Seeds? It is now my "house indica" and I love the taste of the SBR. I know that recently another breeder put out a Black Rose. I'm running the last of my Critical Sensi Star from Delicious, it was my house indica but the SBR tastes better and has almost the same high.
 
Nice grows man did u say your 1000 was dimable or u just never have a problem with temps? Also getting ready for spring meaning outdoor? I love the outdoor what's your plans for this years outdoor I'm just doing 6 hopefully 50 gallon smart pots but I just ordered 10 biodiesel autos and northern lights autos came with 6 freebie autos so hopefully get a nice auto harvest in march

Well I know his ballast is dimable. As I'm getting the 1000w JdL ballast my self.
 
Yes I run a JD Lighting dimmable 1000w'er and yes I did have to dim it down to 750w while we had 110 degree temps this last summer. I actually turned it down and left it at 750w for almost 2 straight months, forgot I dimmed it, LOL. My plants didnt see any real difference between the 1000w and 750w setting in my 4x4 tent. I only grow indoors and my clones for the new year are Critical Kali Mist, Critical Super Silver Haze, Sugar Black Rose all from Delicious seeds, and an extra seed just popped from Female Seeds Company called ICE.
 
Alright cool thanks for the input, and nice selection on the clones are you just trying to find one to really get down or just trying to get a lot of variety in there?

I've been searching for my personal "Holy Grails" for a few years and have found several special phenos, but I do enjoy my variety. Something only becomes a mom in my setup if the strain is better than what I already has as moms, but I typically keep 4 moms
 
Yeah I'm still trying to find that special one that's cool thou your got a lot of variety right now have you ever crossed two to get some seeds? If got my platinum bubba o.g on its 4 th week of flower and I grew out three bag seed that were out of some good really dense purple the bag seeds I got 1 male out of the three and the pollen sacs are just opening so im letting them do there thing hopefully il ring a couple good moms out of those seeds

Because i'm hoping to have a similar setup.
i got a digital galaxy 1000w ballast, that can be dimmed down to 600w, or 400w.
and im hoping to use it in either a 4x4, or 5x5 tent.
(hydro aroponic/nft fence post setup)

im sure im going to have some questions, either about ventilation, or carbon filters, ect.
hopefully u will be able to give me some advice when the time comes.

Thanks man! Ask away and I will answer what I can. You will love the 1000w system. If I can't answer your question someone here will be able to lend an ear.
 
Veg/mom tent is getting busy again. Just upped the ICE from Female Seed's to a 5gal bucket and took a few clones from the bottom of her. She will get another 2 weeks veg before she is flowered.

Current moms are all from Delicious Seed's- Critical Super Silver Haze, Critical Kali Mist, Critical Sensi Star, and Sugar Black Rose (critical x black domina). It will be a couple of months before I know if the ICE will replace the Critical Sensi Star mom. The CSS has a very similar high as the SBR, but I like the musky/sour fruit taste of the SBR over the skunky funky flavor of the CSS.
