1000w 5x5 Soil Grow. Day 16 Flower-Harvest

Hey there Triple C and thanks for popping in. I definitely prefer to veg under flouros I just have never had access to any more than a 2 bulb 4 ft system burrowed from a friend. They seem to like it much better than MH HID's. I think I will veg 12 in there under the New light for at least their first 2 weeks or until size requires a move. I can't say how long I verged these bc I wasn't really counting days until I started this journal. I usually veg until I feel they are ready to flower lol no rhyme or reason to it. I would say on past grows that 45 days would be somewhere close but I could be wrong.

looks great! what size tent do you have the 1k watter in? cool that you've got another closet you can setup for veg. i think you'll have better results vegging with the t5 as opposed to your 1k watter (if that's even what you were doing before setting up the veg closet).

Tried to take some close up pics for you guys.

So a visit from the neighbor complaining about "fresh weed smell" prompted me to harvest about a week early. I know were in a duplex but I honestly didn't think it was that bad. Im not worried about police interdiction considering where I live but I would hate to get evicted by the landlord who is to say at the very least an asshole. Oh well its not what my plan was but ya know sometimes things happen. Im just happy they didn't skip speaking to me and alert the police or landlord. Now yes it is legal inside the home where I live but who wants the police all up in your shit. Ive seen them walk into a room with a few plants and not even bat an eyelash but I also have heard of them taking all plants and equipment but not issuing any citations. I guess its up to the officer I dunno but I prefer to avoid any contact if I can. I do still have 6 plants left in flower to complete their entire life cycle. I think cutting down almost half of my plants should fix the smell.

Grab that carbon filter! its a life saver. We used to be able to smell it the second wed open the main door to the house and now i can barely even smell it in the room until the last week of flower and even then it doesnt leave the room.

I have an 8x32 carbon filter I thought would be sufficient. Ive never used one so I don't know exactly what to expect I guess it is just having trouble keeping up late in flower???? I thought it it would at least control the odor but it obviously has not done its job. Look at my setup in the beginning and you can see it.

hey bro I had a carbon filter and had major smell issues as well, I believe that my fan at the time was too powerful for the filter thus reducing effectiveness.
