1000w mh help

let just say me and a worklight got into a fight and i ripped out 4 1000w mh ballasts and reflectors, bulbs cords and every thing but im scared to put it in my closet its about 2x4 and about 7ft high im scared about heat any advice on how to keep temps down i got a huge fan but i need to keep the door shut as much as i can lol i get like 97 with just floro so 1000w mh will make it way to hot or should i get a smaller light ?

please find a way to vent that light before you even turn it on i would hate to see your house burn down. i would hook up a vent right to the hood. can you post some pic's.

With a light that size in your space you'll need triple venting,one vent going from the light to exhaust & one vent pulling warm air out of the room,then you'll need a air intake vent pushing cool air into the room.

About $100 worth of venting gear if you shop wisely,stay away from muffin fans when looking for vent fans,they will not move enough air for that light.

what do you guys think i should do ?? i can open the closet door often if not open all the time and i have this like 3 ft round floor fan blowing in there but some times when i leave i have to shut it thats the only time im scared of, so im thinking of having some cfl`s and when i leave just turn the monster light off and use some cfl`s

if the door is open all day you will be ok lol. but spend the money on venting its cheaper then buying a new house.
