Thanks guys, So you feel it is better to train then cut. Less stress on the plant.
I guess I'm correct in assuming I will get the stretch the last two weeks of august.

Bending them over sounds like more fun anyway. ;-)

Hey everybody, hope all had a great 4th of July. Went fishing with my youngest son who's down from Trinity for a short break. Were all headed up to the cabin tomorrow, taking a friend who's going to give me an estimate on the plumbing costs along with the propane and roof. While there I'm going to check out some starts of Headband, Purple Kush and Grape Kush, if I like their structure and appearence then I'm going to try to get seeds.
Here's a couple shots from the garden taken today, look at the girth, boxes are 6 foot across and most are already touching the perimeter...

yeah, looks beautiful! I really couldn't expect anything less though :p hehe

I wanted to put in larger beds this year, but knew I couldn't afford it. I will be doing 5x5x2 boxes next year, :) ..... I need to make a trip up North myself sometime in the not too far off future......
 
Thanks everybody, girls are loving the California sun. Getting things ready for our road trip, hope to be back Thursday but thing can change?
