he has a nice setup. Perhaps you can get away with that setup Downunder. I
live in Hawaii, and having a setup that stands out like "Dog's balls" is asking for trouble. I'm assuming choppers don't fly in you area downunder?
Listen everybody, why the need to put down other people's operations. Do you guys really need your ego's stroked? I suggest you all put your ego's in check! A grow contest to see who could grow the biggest plants!?!?(Must be high schoolers?) Who in their right mind would grow like that? I have argued with neighbors on Maui way back when. They refused to tie down their plants which were visible. Neighbor's plants were ranging from 8 to 15 feet in height! I told them if they didn't tie their plants down, I'd cut them down myself!! Plants were visible from Highway, and were less than 75 yards from one of my patches. I was truly in a postion of loosing my one patch.
In-doors, or outdoors, I see the advantages in both, and I see the dis-advantages in both too. Personally, I like the outdoor stuff. This probably because of my 30 odd years of growing outside. In-door patches have their advantages. But back in the 90's I was doing federal time, and 75% of the pot growers busted in the federal joint were in-door growers! Why? The electric companies in their areas turned them in!
Most people's electrical bills shoot up 200% or more running their lights, pumps, etc.,etc...
Be very careful, especially if you are living in your folks home. DEA seizure laws, your parents will loose their home! If that's cool with you, by all means proceed forward. But if that's not cool, I'd highly consider changing your op. to outside.
As a guerilla farmer I have grown patches over thirty miles away from where I live! One has to do what one has to do to stay safe! So if that means putting your plants half way around the world so be it!
