10x20 Gorilla Grow Tent~ COOLING

Hello everyone I recently purchased a 10x20 ft gorilla grow tent. I would like to gather some opinions on how I would cool the tent.

I will be running 8-10 lights, 1000 watt each with sealed magnums. I would much rather go overkill so I dont have to fuck with the A/C. I want it done right the first time, no bullshit.

Any suggestions good or bad helps me out, so lets here what you got!

8-10 1000 watt lights would be a major overkill and would be almost impossible to keep the inside of the tent cool. Are you putting this in an air conditioned area (basement, house)? That would be the only way to cool this thing is to vent hot air out and cool air in. 10 X 20 is only 200 square foot. 2 1000 watt lights would be more than enough lighting for this space.

dont listen to, 2 1kw will do a 10x20... thats nuts.

get your self a 3 ton ac. i have 8 lights in 12x19 and not air cooled with 5 ton but it does 2 matching rooms at opposite times of day. my ac works perfect in fact it shuts off pretty often so was going to add 2 more lights ontop of the 8 per room i have now.

yield goes up everytime a light is added ;)

Sure you can go this route. You have to survey what your needs are. A 3 ton A/C would be a massive waste in a non-insulated tent. If you want a serious grow, I would build an insulated room and then you could be efficient. If you are going to grow for commercial purposes, then add the lights and the huge A/C. When I here someone using a tent, I assume(which is probably wrong) that this is for personal use and not commercial. Ricky is correct with the more lights the higher the yield. I just have to watch my power consumption where I live and being wasteful. Sounds like ricky has a great setup and is in a location where stealth and power consumption doesn't matter. If this is your case then by all means go for it. Thanks
