Hello All

Here in the Midwest and this weekend will conclude 11 weeks. Three Jack47, two are ready and the third has more sativa traits and still has white pistils. She is against the wall and looks like she will run well into October. Two LSD plants and Three Skywalker Kush. All have red pistils. I found a worm in three of the plants and removed them and relocated them. There are still a few white pistils on the plants that will be harvested this weekend. Hopefully the high will be heady and uplifting. This forum is a big wealth of knowledge. Thank you all. Peace

Then it is settled. A few more weeks it is with daily checks for worms. Thanks All
B.t. spray will help with any bud worms or caterpillars, its organic and can be used up until harvest.
The spray will not kill on contact, but destroy the stomach lining of the worms (or something like that) which then dehydrates and kills them over the course of the next couple of days.. So it may not look like its working, but they basically stop eating your leaves immediately, which stops their digestion/i.e. rot from them shitting inside your buds.

I try to spray at least once a week when growing outdoors up until a week or so before harvest, just as a preventative. The caterpillar eggs are so tiny you're bound to miss one, so the B.t. spray as a preventative weekly will help keep any eggs and newly hatched caterpillar populations down (I think they hatch from their eggs after like 4-7 days IIRC)

Heres the bottle of monterey brand (my favorite) make sure you get the "kurstaki" subspecies, designed to treat against caterpillars and worms.(read ingredients label, or look at picture on bottle...)
