12/12 and plants are beginning to bud...but how long????

hey, i got a quick ques. i have five plants in 3 and 5 gallon pots. about 2 weeks ago, i started keeping them in the dark ofr 12 hrs, and out in light for 12 hours, to start budding. it seems to have worked, and I have been halling these babies in and out of my dark shed everyday. at some point, I want to put them in the ideal spot and leave them,

Will the 12/12 cycel be affected? How long do i have to keep them on 12/12? i just dont think ill be able to move them if they get big...hoping they do.

any suggestions??

they are in my backyard, and would be obvious if it was surrounded in plastic.i guess I should just find a spot and leave them alone now that they are starting to bud. I just want to max my harvest since these are the only plants I have to work with.

When would be harvest....sept/oct?
