So i went in my grow spot today and what did I find? I found that I now have three females.. the other tall one was female, and one of the shorts ones is also female.. I took pics of the females individually, and then a group shot including the undecided one which is in the back on the left..

Enjoy the pics, and as always... Stay high :joint: :joint: :joint:

...and by the way, ive got a little bug infestation.. Its not hurting my plant at all, and i've had these bugs before.. they look like tiny brown beetles.. no pics, they are too small.. if its does get out of hand, i may try to snap a pic of one of the bugs.. but i dont think it will...

12/12 is a fun way to grow. I've done it with cfl's and I would like to get back at it now that I have a 250w hps. I like starting my 12/12s with 6500k bulbs and switching to the 2700k once the plants start to sex. I think that the blue light helps minimize stretching until the plant kicks it into flower.

I have also experienced better growth and easy transitioning when using more veg oriented CFLs (I used 5500k) during the first "veg" days and switching to 2700k once flowering has begun.

Got her in the ground.. Now I'm down to two females.. I killed off the other undecided plant purposely.. Thought I saw the start of some balls anyways.. I dont even really have enough room for two plants, let alone three..

So my party cups are down to TWO females.. One is tall, the other is short.. The seeds came out of two different bags, so this could be two different strains i'm working with.. I'll be able to tell if theres a difference later in flower..

anyways, Stay High yall.. :joint: :joint: :joint:

That's some of the most ignorant shit I've ever read. Farmers will correct the ph in their soil if needed (yes, including your dumbass farmers in illinois).

I'm a soil girl. Tap water here is so hard that it literally kills the plants. So yes, i'm one proof that ph'ing water even when in soil is important.

its not the ph of the water killing your plants. its the additives and the residual nutrients that residue is what overtime chanages the ph of your soil. its not the ph of your water. if you have water like that use different water.

phing water in soil grows is a marijuana internet phenomenon and is backed by the hydro stores so you buy their shit.

ph of water instantly adapts or "buffers" to the ph of the soil. this is science.. Ph is important but its the ph of the soil that matters. and you cant change the ph of soil by changing the ph of water.

If you want to fix your ph problems buy a soil with good ph to start with or do something that will actually change the ph like this : http://www.ipm.iastate.edu/ipm/hortnews/1994/4-6-1994/ph.html

notice this quote :
"Modifying a soil's pH is usually a slow process and may require repeat treatments. It is often most effective to use a combination of treatments. However, don't expect a quick fix or a miracle cure."

only places you find telling you to ph your water is marijuana growing forums.

the only real reason to ph your water would be for a hydro grow or if your water is so fucked up that it wouldnt even be drinkable..bc the water will still hit the roots for a moment before it buffers.

and heres a study of the effect of ph water on soil. http://www.tamu-commerce.edu/agscience/res-dlc/blueberr/blue.html

Use of lake water with a pH of 7.10 had no effect on soil pH during the first year of the experiment (Table 2). Well water with a pH of 8.70 caused soil pH to increase to 5.56, while acidified well water reduced soil pH to 5.32 by the end of the first year. those differences are pathetic and took a year..how long to your plants live for?

read this inform yourself and naysayers fuckoff.

Anyone who has lowered the level of their soils ph by watering their plants with ph adjusted water knows you're full of shit.

yes they correct their soil..not with water. why are you attacking Illinois farmers?? guess you dont like corn or dairy products.

when you say my information is full of shit your saying agricultural scientists are full of shit. but if you'd rather listen to stoners then maybe a couple of the other members here who know what I am talking about would step in. Ive seen multiple growers even on this site say what im saying.
y
those people are taking measurements of the water in the soil not the soil itself. it is difficult to get an accurate pure soil ph reading. but when you do it correctly you will get the finding of these experiments done by professionals. it takes years to drop ph of soil with water.

anyways sorry for adding this shit to your thread. in the end growers do what they want and I understand that. its will be interesting to see how this grow turns out.
