12/12 from seed suggestions

Open to any suggestions on 12/12 from seed ide like to know what other people have to say about it and tips. I'm doing my first grow and I'm just using Reggie bush bag seeds right now for the learning experience before I decide to grow medical grade I don't want to waste the seeds. But I'm very confident that with the right nutes and care and love I can turn this bag seed into something beautiful. All seeds are capable of being good grade buds if you just treat them right and I'm also open to suggestions on the kind of care and steps taken to turn bag seeds into a beautiful girl. Have a 48" 24" 60" grow tent on the way DWC 5 gal bucket 400watt cool tube HPS light 230cfm carbon filter fan and techflora starter kit recipe for success nutrients. Basically have all the essentialls I'm in this to win it I want to have everything I need for my first grow

If you are doing 12/12 from seed the plants will be very small, I wouldn't recommend giving them nutes at that size. Just get a good base soil and add bone meal, bat guano, worm casting, blood meal. Unless it's a crazy sativa 12/12 plants should be under 1 ft tall with little branching.

From seed is best done in quantity and usually can benefit from scrog. If you arent doinb a hamdful of seeds then I recommend at least some veg time. You can use any 6500k flouro and give them at least 3 weeks in soil with no nutes, then transplant into a nice organic soil and flip them..

Tips if you will proceed irregardless. No nutes for first 3 weeks can be a little less under 12/12 so watch for signs of hunger. Small plants are easy to stress and most soil blends such as FFOF can be too much nutes for young plant roots. Good luck new gardener..

im in no way telling you not to go 12/12 from seed i have done it be4 plants just have more bud sites if you let them veg a little just my 2cents

I enjoy 12/12 from seed I've currently got a few going on 65 days from germ, peat moss mix

One thing I've noticed is to keep the nutes relatively low I've been using fox farm big bloom.and tiger bloom through flower at 1/4 strength once a week and it's been plenty

Could be strain dependant as my girls are sativa dominant

This could all be irrelevant foe you since your going hydro and I'm inexperienced with hydro

Why go through all the trouble of dwc for 12/12 from seed. Just being honest I thought the reason people did 12/12 is to keep it easy and low maintenance, not having to use all the tanks and what not, constantly checking the water. I'm not saying dwc is bad, can deliver more co2 to the roots for faster growth but ide just veg them for a few weeks you'd get a lot more out of the 400 watt

OK fair enough I just like DWC because it can grow half as fast yes it takes more work but I'm willing to put in the time to figure out my plants and know when they need to have the water changed more nutes ect. Like I said I'm just doing bag seeds for now just to gain the knowledge and get some experience with it so when I feel ready to do medical I'll know what to do I just want to get a feel on it.

I don't see what difference it makes what medium you use. Go with what you know . It sounds to me like you are well stocked and just want to play so play it is just a little electricity and what not. I have played with 12/12 from seed but it isn't for my taste. Lately I have been getting into efficiency. I moved my veg in my bedroom because my house is already set to the right temps and I balanced open hoods to air cooled hoods to not run heat in my flower room.

As we grow we go through phases of wanting to do things and my true advice is follow your heart but keep a solid grow going to maintain your meds also.. <=== I mean like grow 3 in dirt with proper veg so you have personal in case your heart was foolish.

Thanks for the advice man! I'm very excited I've seen my brother do it so Much and I do countless hours of research on growing with DWC my eyes hurt from staring into my phone and computer for so long but I love everything about it and I think growing is therapeutic idc my yeild I just want to grow and learn all I can and find my own medium I can work with because no matter the quality of my bud I'll always take pride in whatever I grow because I know I did it all by myself.
