Can I do 12/12 from seed until I'm able to sex my plants, get rid of any males at that point, THEN change over to a veg state and maybe do some SCROG/LST for a month or so before going back to 12/12 for flowering?

no, first go by 24 hours light on, but yu gotta check up on those plants ever hour, because once yu miss the one lil hair(which is female) it will go back in n yu wont be able to tell wut gender it is until for a couple days later.. and once yu see if there female switch back to 24 hours again for a coupple of days n start ur vegging from there. good luck

you can "sex" plants using the method you described, 12/12 from seed should produce sex in 3-4 weeks sometimes sooner.
after that however you must re-veg them by putting them back in the 18/6 (or similar) cycle, this however usually takes another 3-4 weeks before new vegative growth occurs.
personally i usually pick a few strong candidates for mothers and sex the clones i take from them, as long as you keep track of which is which, you know the sex of the donor "mother" plant. this usually takes a bit longer than the other method, and requires more space and effort to raise possible males (especially if your not interested in breeding) but the benefit of this is that by the time sex is known the female plants are already well matured rather than the underdeveloped flowering plants of the previous method.
just some insight but your method should work just fine.

Gotcha chaka.....I'm following your lead, you are the one who has convinced me ( based on my setup and what I want to accomplish ) that 12/12 is the way to go.....I'm spent the last week and a half on this site reading and reading and I'm down with your methodology.....When I posted this in the AM I was still stuggling between 12/12 and mabe doing some SCROG'n after weeding out the males.....Thanks for replying....your stuff is just sick man !!!!! And I'm not a stoner, just a stoner accomplice !!!!!
