At the end of this month my new flower tent along with 600w hps arrive! It will eventually be full as my perpetual grow gets started but in the mean time their will be some extra space in their. Rather than waste it I have decided to do a little experiment.
2 plants will be germinated at the same time into identical pots, soil nutes ect. One plant will be a photoperiod strain and kept at 12/12 it's whole life under the 600w hps. The second plant will be an autoflowering version of the same strain and will receive 8 hours of light from the 600w hps, 8 hours under 300w dual spectrum cfl and 8 hours darkness. Therefore both plants should have the same amount of electricity spent on them. Will be interested in differences between yield, quality, time taken and plant structure.
Can anybody recommend some seeds to order for this experiment? Needs to have a good photo and auto version. Indica dominant preferred!
Will keep this thread updated daily when the experiment begins. I'm a total noob halfway through his first grow (feel free to check my journals for my other two plants) and all comments, advice, Criticism and trolling will be thoroughly enjoyed.
