12/12 from seed

Hey guys I have seeds from sannies, sugar punch! My plan is to pot 6 plants and pick the 4 best and just let them grow straight up with 12/12 from seed. But I have 11L pots is that to big? Do I need to veg them anything before?
my strain does 3,4 double it’s length in stretching period.
I have. 70x70x160 tent.
I know it’s not 12/12 from seed if I let them veg before but I want to minimize the veg time and minimize the hight of the plant because my tent is so low.

Sounds like a plan to me..

Would bump to maybe 3 gallon.. if square 3 gallon could fit.
Looking at 90 days being generous.

Maybe even add a trellis and top them early to flatten it out and fill it up around week 3/4 after sprout

Treat them like some auto flowers

I put seedling in flower cycle, ended up 5 ft cola, ld veg first as you will get much more from her. She will veg all the same but decrease everything. And stretch out alot, ld go 24 for a month then flip, will be bigger and will not stretch as much. She will also set faster coming from from 24 hr. Even a few weeks would help. DLI look it up! Hard to meet in 12 hrs. Unless very powerful light.

Yes I have 11L square now maybe I should buy new onec. I think if I have 9L I can fit 6 pots maybe or 5. A trellis? Scrog net? I have a net to use but my plan was just to let them grow straight up because this strain isnst so bushy more. So in practice I plant my seed in a very small container and let it grow for maybe a week or so then transplant it to my bigger pot and after some days I top it and lst and scrog it? That’s what u mean? Yeah it will take around 90day what I planned. My autoflower is taking 100+ days because I train them so freaking much haha. Just had a auto for 130 days‍♂

Hmmm.. Up to you on the number of plants. Either could work.

I would say 1-2 week in smaller containers and make sure the roots are healthy, not over fed or over watered so it doesn't stress too much.

Could put the 4 pots in the tent filled with the soil you are going to use and moisten it. Then place your smaller 6 plants sprouting on top while they are growing. Deciding which ones will go into the bigger pots.. I don't know what kind of medium you are using.. But that's how I picture I would do it

The 90 day thing was just being generous 1 month veg (the seedling will not flower until it is old enough even under 12/12 so we will call that veg) 2 month flower.. Will probably be more around the 100-130 day

If your going twelve twelve from seed, theres no need for the scrog net. Start them off in solo cups , then move to larger pot like nine inch, then after that go to larger pots. With 12/12 from harvest, you will be getting a single cola with short side branches

Was thinking topping early and scrogging that whole tent :lol:

I agree though could throw big spears instead.. He is limited on height

Okay thanks for ur info it helps me a lot. I will germ them in just some days! Yes I will post a picture on my autos they became monsters but not so huge nugs.
I’m using coco 70% and 30%perlite.

The other one in the bath tub I will harvest it today in some hours. That one is on day 130 but a lot bigger so I hope for a 140g or something like that
My last harvest got mold hahaha 20g totally spider web‍♂ But I had 98% rh outside the day I harvested and kept on raining for a week bad timing haha…. It’s LSD AUTO from Barney’s farm. But I’m not so happy about the genetics in autoflower I can’t get them as I want really and I think all strains got some similar taste to each other. But I went over to fastbuds and they seems to have better genetics then green house and Barney’s and royal queen seeds and such big seed banks with mass produced seeds.

so I found this guy sannie’s you should check him out. He has sick genetics in he’s plants and are not mass producing he’s seeds. Sannies seed shop

Those plants looks good too pure coco. Sucks about the mold and spider webs. Happens to the best of us.

Don't give up on autoflower genetics yet. The ones you mentioned are decent..
But there are real good ones out there. Just have to find them.

Good luck on the 1212 from seed I think it will be cool for you to do :blsmoke:

My friend used 12/12 with this seed and the plant grew to my belly hight and just under my chest. So they grow aloooot in flower. So if I just let them grow straight up maybe I should go with smaller pots and potentially fit more then 4 pots. But I don’t have pots and in my country it’s risky to order grow supplies to ur home and my guy who ordered it all just moved…. So maybe i will have to go with my 11L pots anyways but if so maybe I plant it in a small container and let it bee a seedling then veg for 1/2 weeks the. Transplant it into my 11L pots because I don’t have time to transplant 2 times because I want to have little veg as possible. This guy sannies says with this method on 1m2 in theory you can get 600g with this method and he says that’s is in living soil so in coco I can get more. And he said he had consumers that had more then 600g in 1m2. I have 0,49m2 in my tent. And he uses 9 pots in 1m2

That would be a SOG.. Not many real sogs out there lately.

I think the coolest one I had seen was from someone on here. They did it with AK47 too which made it that much better...
Will see if I can find it for inspiration

I have a couple friends in the same boat with the supplies not being accessible.
Buying a grow light is highly risky. There should be a way for you to get these things as it's not really fair, you know?

Would maybe keep it with what you have at the moment. And then next time you can make adjustments to the pot size and other things.

Anyways let me see if I can find the AK SoG

yeah so maybe 4x 11L pots and 1/2 weeks veg time before setting my lights to 12/12. Maybe I can fit 5 pots will take a look when I’m back at home.

I will start my sannies seeds in just a day or so just want my plant to dry some first. I will germ my seeds in the other tent I have right now because I have 4 autos in veg in that tent so no high light intensity.
I have marshydro 150w in my small tent and Mars hydro sp3000 300w in my big tent. I have 120x60x180 tent also. But that’s my autoflower tent
