12/12 From seed

oy mates,
Just wondering if you guys have heard of the growing method of starting a sprout on 12/12.
I am curently trying this method with 7 plants.
I vegged for 2 weeks from sprout, and now im flowering on 12/12.

apparently this is a effective method, because you can have a bunch of smaller plants in a small secton.
you can have 9 plants in a space where you could norm have only 4.

if you are interested in this method, please let me know, and i will post more info.

ya i saw the link, i didnt really have any questions.
but it looks good.
what was your light source, i kno it was cfl, but how many? what watt? what total lumens?

Isn't that a watered down version of SOG? SOG's main principle is fitting more smaller plants into an area versus less bigger plants into that same area.

Ohio - the lights I was using at the time were CFL's. I had over 600 real Watts in a 22 CFL setup. I switched to 2 150 Watt HPS lights for my 12/12's now. I have had a 100% success rate with females on 12/12 from seed. 5 for 5. :peace:

i did 25 plants under a 400 watt hps in 12/12 from seed, i got like 16 females. the chances of getting females are higher for some reason in this method it seems
i didnt get very much buddha though, some plants like 7 grams dry weight and less, a few i got like 1/2 ounce. it depends on the strain i guess.
