12/12 from seed

I am currently growing 3 white widows 12/12 from seed. I am going to transplant to Ocean Forest soon (currently in Happy Frog). My question being, since it's 12/12 from seed, should I still use veg nutes or go right to flowering nutes? Thanks

Thanks a lot guys. Should I wait until the girls tell me they need nutes or just start them?

wait for them to tell you they need nutes - i.e. reddening fan leaf stems, leaves turning lighter green, the latter two are usually the first signs to appear

In between the first real leaves seem to be a line of light green, does that count? I doubt it though, It's only about a week and a half old.

wait for it to get around 6 inches before nutes, I would start with .5 ml of nutes per gallon and work your way up .5 ml increments until the tips of the leaves start to yellow a little bit and back off the nutes .5ml/gallon. of course you will need to increase nutes as your plant gets larger but less is always better than too much when it comes to nute watering young plants.

Does growing 12/12 from seed make it a faster process as you dont have to go through the veg stage?
If so and your using HID that would save alot on electricity, compared to when you would have your HID's running 18/6 - 24/0.

Pretty interested in this, Id like to give it a go if it gives out a decent yeild !!

I've heard mixed things about the yield, but then I found a thread where a guy was getting around 3 oz a plant while doing 12/12 from seed. Me personally i'll be happy with an ounce a plant, so I guess it depends on how much you consider a good yield:eyesmoke:

When the plant is in flowering, it does not stop growing. It still puts energy towards new growth. Some amount of veg nutes would be beneficial.

The plants will not flower until they are mature enough to do so, this usually takes 2-3 weeks depending on strain, sometimes longer.
