I took a bunch of clones about 12 days ago , and I thought a bunch of em where gonna die as they just pretty much fell over the next day . After about 4 more days of care all clones stood back up , and as of now all clones are green and perky . I went to check for root growth , and there is absolutely none . I pulled on the stem of one , and it popped right out of the rapid rooter , and there's not even the starts of roots . This is kinda confusing me

happens to me every single time i try lol. what did you do? just stick them in water? cuz thats all i do.
But i have faith once i make an oxygenated resevoir with a fish tank bubbler my results will improve.. try clipping some leaves a bit maybe>? like 30 percent or 20 and it will encourage rooting

Some strains are hard starters.
Usually I cut at a 45 and very lightly scrape the bottom 1/2"
Give it a few days and if nothing is happening by them.
Cut and scrape and they will take off
I expect.

You're foliar feeding them (through the leaves).

Spray the dome with PURE WATER - EC0.0
and use very weak feed on the rooting sponges/plugs.
Keep the rooting sponges/rockwool MOIST (NOT SOAKING!).

Any nutrient water that is used on the leaves - by way of humidity spray or whatever
will feed the cutting through her foliage.
While ever this continues the clone has no reason to send out her roots to seek nutrition.

It took me 4 weeks to root my first cuttings because I did this!
After 18 days I was told of my mistake
7 days later twenty three (of twenty four) cuttings were well rooted .

Northof England pretty much laid it out. Keep the root zone warm 75 F is good. A dome can help begining cloners. Use a bloom feed to promote roots. I like to use fox farm Big Bloom. My clones root in about 5 -7 days. I stopped using rapid rooters and went back to 4x4 rockwool cubes with no hole cut out and bit of cloning powder.

yea I used clonex cloning solution , not gel for dipping the cuttings . Ordered some a few months ago and had no gel . And yes I have been spraying wit this solution . Will try the fresh water approach stating today . We will see how this does . Hope it works . Also 71. degrees on the rooting zone
