Maybe I should create a new thread... maybe some day. But I'll just ask this here.

The plants are newly transplanted into a very nutritious soil and they look very healthy, except the bottom leafs. They are very yellow, almost white as a matter of fact. Feeding them nutrients now is a little risky, am I right? So I was thinking, is it ok to foliar feed them? Could this help? 1/2 strength of Hesi TNT (or so)?

By the way, can a yellow leaf go back to just being green? Or is it lost forever?

Oh and for the newcomers, they aren't 12 days no longer, they are five weeks but I'm too retarded to just create a new thread

By the way, here's a picture. I just sprayed them with some water only. But here you can see some very yellow leaves, but with some green new growth in there, hmm.

I know I said they look healthy, but this one is the worst, it's pretty hard to take pictures in there

Edit: While I'm at it, I added another picture, can someone just give me opinions, how do they look after five weeks? Does anyone see anything obvious that needs to be done?

i wouldn't foliar feed (unless it's a clone) , and never with nutes, it could burn the leaves with the chemicals even if you reduce the potency. look in the growfaq and i think the answer is in there under plant problems?. there was some info on when your leaves turn yellow on the top it means something and when they turn yellow on the bottom it means something. and of course you could google it or consult your grow bible. hope this helped.

Ok, so no foliar feeding, and adding nutrients to new soil cant be good right?

I've read that when they turn yellow from the bottom its a nitrogen deficiency, but I don't know man. Right now I know nothing, I can just wait for replies here, and wait to see what happens in there.

When Tranks planting

- I water the plant that I'm gonna be trans planting
- fill the new contanor and water it so that the soil compresses
- put the plant into the new pot with the soil then fill the rest with soil and water the soil you just put in and there

PS - Never feed a plant when you trans plant it for about 1 week

Just in case someone else with slow seedlings come to this thread with the same problem; the problem seems to be solved now. They may be small for their age, but I'm not worried anymore. These are 6 weeks old, second day of flowering. Comments appreciated though, they always are

Thanks guys, if it wasn't for you all I don't know what they would look like by now. And let me just say..... god DAMN they grow quick when you flip over to 12/12. Its madness!

so what was the problem with the slow growth? im having the same problem too, and dont know why. im running a 400W HPS about a foot or so from the top of the biggest plants...is that the reason?

Bagelthief, well for me it was just about having patience. Maybe I could've transplanted them a little earlier, but I don't know if that would've helped. I just had to realize the fact that some plants are slower than others, but it was hard not to overanalyze them.
