12 Site Ebb & Grow...

I installed this last month for a friend and finished the clone transplant today. If I ever get one, I'm using Hydrofarm lines!!! The thin walled shit that comes with it is a pain in the ass to push on good. But flooding and draining with the 1/2 is pretty fast.


I got 6 NorthernBerry clones and 6 PurpleSkunk getting feed with 20 Gallons of 1/4 strength Technaflora nutes. The main Rez has two 4" air stones on a 7.8LPH hydrofarm air pump. Getting another set soon.

thats a real nice system. is it a diy set up? i have been on the fence about building on just like that. my buddy has the hydrofarms system and it is real nice. i personaly dont like all the hydroton. so i would put lids on my bucks and use net pot with just a little hydroton for support but that would be the only thing i would change. very nice system....today i bought some buckets from lowes and they are so much more light resistant than the home depot buckets and they were just 2.30 for bucket and 1 buck for the lid....got to love it

It's an Ebb & Gro 12 pot system. It's ok so far but it's the first system i have used. I'm real happy with the DWC I put together and like it better than the E&G. Probably like your boyz Hydrofarm. And if you wash hydroton well it is perfect and clean. Rockwool cubes are what you want to stay away from. I'm a big fan of Rapid rooter plugs.

Best damn combo for not having to deal with ph issues ONLY if that hydroton is FLOODED prior to use.

I use a tote that's 24"L x 12"W x 6"H with the ENTIRE bottom drilled with holes.
Pour in hydroton and sit the tote on top of a 5gal bucket, get the water hose (on high) and rinse until I dump that bucket at least a dozen times.
Then ph 5.5 water in bucket and soak hydroton over night.

OH SHIT...I forgot to post the pics of the Coal filter, two 600w Yield Master II air cooled hoods and the 6" Vortex Exhaust Fan. My boy told me to do it the way I would do it with the equipment I would use. I'm teaching him how to set the timers, mix the nutes and whatever else I learn along the way. When it's harvested I get a top and however much more it takes to get to 3 ounces...of each kind. That's 6 ounces total with a top from each So I get to learn, smoke a blunt or two when I'm there tending and free weed when it's done...Sounds good to me!!!

For shits and gigs when changing out the nutes, I wanted to see what the difference was by raising the pots. When they were all @ ground level there was about one inch of nutes left in the bottom. By setting all the pots on 2by4z it now drains damn near all of it!!! Told my boy I'll tip each pot with a paint sticks and it will all drain. I'll post pics tomorrow. Thinking about rasing the pots about three inches so the level in the control rez is deep enough for an air stone.


My Ebb&Gro system would have 16 4"Oxy Stones by SunLeaves.com and 8 Hydrofarm 7.8 Air Pumps. 3 stones in the Main Rez, 1 in the Control and 1 in the bottom of each pot. Plus a digital timer to control the pot pumps to come on durring the flood and drain cycle...I love bubbles and so do roots!!!

This is the hood/light combo I want for for my Bloom room!!!

I like my Yield Master II hood.
Wouldn't mind going up to a 600w light someday.
And I will too...............lmao
