I'd chop in one week probably.. These are some frosty buds.. Good job!

I wouldn't worry too much about flushing.. I think it's a myth. I've done both the flushing for two weeks thing, and nutes all the way (every other watering since seedlings), and there was no difference at all in flavor. I think it's only important if you're growing hydro and using chemical nutes.

Thanks for help Avrum.

I will probably go 50/50 on small doses of pure BioBloom and Water for the next week.
This is a pic comparing between 1/24/14 and 1/29/14.
Not much difference but I'd definitely say there is a better ratio of bud to sugar leaves in the more recent pic.

Anyone got any tips or idea as to what I should do with the frosty leave trimmings when I harvest?

Should I just leave them on the buds? I assume there is no where near enough frosty foliage to make some hash out of?

Dry + cure and save until you've got enough to make dry ice hash, or save them for a rainy day. Smoking trimmings is better than not smoking at all... :weed:

EMERGENCY!

Noticed this brown tinge to the tips of calyxes and leave rims at the top of my two tallest buds. On closer inspection with x60 scope it is a more purple colour. Is this normal for Northern Lights?? Or is it rot?

Thanks DCobeen.

Literally just sat staring at the affected leaves. It's definitely a very vibrant purple. That picture doesnt do it justice, looks more black than purple. Was very scared for a brief moment lol.

DC, If you go to page 2 of this thread I have close ups. They are around 70% Cloudy, 25% Clear and 5% Amber.(When I say 5% I mean the odd rogue leave that has a small minority of Amber trichomes.

Yeah thats me assuming you go another 3-4 weeks with the correct carb feed to fatten and rippen them since they are still pretty immature in flower from the pics.

Hey man!! Nice setup!

Why do you want to harvest it now, are your trichromes ready yet?
Asking cos it seems that she has about some days more. She could fatten up really nice!

Cheers!

Hey,

The trichomes are 90% cloudy on the buds. On the sugar leaves however they are a mix of 70% cloudy, 20% clear and 10% amber.
The plant is in 24/0 right now and will be for two days before it gets chopped.

Chopped down on Friday, not got scales to weigh yet, but they are still drying anyway.

One of the smallest buds on the plant was chopped about a week ago just so I could get a close up of trichomes.

Gave it the lightest trimming ever, gonna smoke the sugar leaves anyway.
