I'm doing something similar.... have a closet for mothers and clones with t5's and CFL's respectively, and a 9x5 area for my DWC setup. not sure on how many i'll end up flowering, but i'm in the construction phase now. doing two 1000 w on light movers.... i'll stagger the light tracks for optimal growth.

did the company require any proof that the light was damaged upon shipment? if not... what's there to stop someone from getting free equipment? could someone say the ballast was dented in 5 inches and wouldn't operate and receive a second ballast for free?

not tryin to scam anyone.... just wonderin...

im currently setting up the same as you. i have 2 600 watts and 3 tables 2 with 15 each and one with 10 i have 30 going into to sog and the 10 in a scog. its a 10x10 tent grow. i have the 7' pots for the sog and im getting 12' for the scog. i cant wait to compare im defiantly subscribed. keep it up bro! oh and i will be getting my camera working one of these days for you guys.

so you wanna do scrog and sog? I thought i convinced you to lower the amount of work by jsut doing one big SOG.

And i dont agree with some people here. In any SOG you can get large buds. Its all about the plants getting the same amount of light and growing the same height while using up as much floorspace as possible. Thats why starting from seed would be the best way, because they would all grow at the same time (usually)

likei said before, why not just grow the plants, and then tie them down when you feel like they should be. Saving space, time, labor, and stress.

SoG+LST+longer veg time = large amounts of bud on fairly large plants....alot of them

Just built a purpose built sealed 8.5x8.5 room with a cool ventilation system, only the 1x600 watt air cooled hps at this moment but have 9 ak47 seeds planted today, can't wait

Vapor bros -If you are doing SOG its is definitely easier from clone not seed. I think SOG is more work then SCROG.- If you do both right. Plus Scrog cuts down on number of plants.

If you do end up liking idea of SOG i would go vertical instead. SOG you dont need much height. I would think you could better utilie that space.

Baz- Here are my AKs from serious. Day 33 flower here and growing now. Tried a scrog but plants were all a little diff. There are 3 in that pic. The one on the left though is over half the cab. Next grow will be 2 plants trimmed all up and vegged for 7-8 weeks from a mother of that left plant. They are under a 600hps like yours will be and using C02...
