Page one bro, first post
I use Roots organic soil and my own mixed soil in 20 gallon fabric pots. Im getting away from bottled fertilizers, but i still have a few just in case my soil mix is off for some reason.
list of bottled ferts.
Earth juice grow, bloom, catalyst
Go CaMg+, diamond black, biomarine
FF big bloom.
I also make AACT with worm castings and ancient forest, I'll add light ferts only if needed.
I see the roots soil and "my own mixed soil". Just wondering what the mixed soil was.

I use a combo of roots organic and old spent roots organic soil. I amend with
Bat guano
kelp meal
greensand
azomite
crab meal
insect frass
oyster shell
seabird quano
blood and bone meal.
fish bone meal
dolomite lime
worm castings
compost

Seems like a lot of stuff, but I didn't go heavy on anything. Then I let it sit up for at least a month. I basically went off subcools recipe, but cut in half and minus the biobizz. Then I added extra stuff that he doesn't. When it came to adding 2 of the same things or very similar things(like bone meal and fish bone meal) I would cut both in half.
Secret Jedi blend, he hasn't posted in a while because he's strapped to a table in my basement getting his toenails removed with pliers till he spills the secret, 13 days straight still won't say

Been here 2 years next month,..while I certainly have seen you around...i've missed your grows somehow. Very nice. I have a bubblegum thats been cloned since the early 90s whose smell warrents a Bazooka Joe cartoon. Actually pretty odorless unless touched or jostled. But when it is...wow. Totally agree on the ability to train. Hardy bitches.

Looking good Gary. I ordered new bulbs for my t5. Got a couple 10,000 k with uva, see what it does for tricome production. Also got some pure par bulbs.

I like your soil. I run water only. I use a local cheap bagged organic humus as my base. I use down to earth all purpose. It has kelp and other dry amendments. I also use castings and compost. Different manures from the farm. Crushed oyster shell and lime. Little gypsum. Little peat. Some espoma garden tone.

I like a good water only soil

Now don't get me wrong ( ok, feel free) as I am impressed with those who go to the lengths that produce a water-only grow but...
I have more than a full time job and before and after that I have chores at home that are almost another ft job so when I started growing I was happy, after the build, that growing takes so little of my time.
Organic seems like so much more work and worry than what I do. (Promix/Jacks). For that matter, I am almost water-only. I use 1 tablespoon of Jack's Citrus in 6 gallons of water. Did you start in organics? To be honest, if the friend I approached about starting to grow had told me I needed to pick up a dozen diifferent ingredients for my soil I would have been dissuaded.

To each his own, do you man , if it works and produces dank nuggs then that's what matters IMO. Organic is just fun for some peeps, and playing around with pumps and meters is fun for others, inthibk both are fun and if done right both produce amazing flowers. Good job Garold
