I order 2 seeds from the single seed center, they looked small, delicate, and just weak. I germed 1 right away , it popped within a couple of days. I have that plant in dirt as my mother and grow in hydro. The strain clones great, I have had roots within 7 days both batches that I have done. I finished my first batch of OG 18 about a month ago and have had several people who have been smoking dank nuggets for many years tell me this is the best tasting herb they have smoked in a long time and I agree. I cut a taster bud at 6 weeks and it produced the most cerebral,paranoid,head high that I have had in a long time, it was very interesting. I suggest you try the same if for nothing but shits and giggles. This strain is top notch and my mother will be around for a long time.

I just use hot water from the tub and clean rag. Nice set up though .. 1000W will make fat buds I am flowering with 1000W HPS

I do not pull the lids off my grow buckets at all during the entire grow.When I drain my water I just take the lid off my resevoir bucket and dump that into another bucket which I bring to the drain and discard. After a minute or two the water in all three buckets equalizes and I dump the res bucket again. I repeat until the buckets are empty. If I wasn't such a cheap bastard I would have spent $25 on a pump to hook up to my drain hose and save me some work. I drain my buckets about every 7 - 10 days as needed for the lucas formula. The lucas formula calls to drain and refill with fresh nutes after you have added back the total amount of water in your system. So to start day 1 flower in all three buckets I have 12 gallons of fresh water/ nute mix, and my buckets are full. I add back fresh water without nutes daily as needed until I have added back a total of 12 gallons. Then I empty the buckets and start again with fresh water/nute mix. I hope this makes sense and helps you, if not let me know and I will elaborate.

I heard that really dank strains are usually small and non-viable looking seeds but not to be fooled.
Dont judge a seed by its cover is what im told.

I will get a grow journal started once i receive these seeds so yea... i hope turns out good like yours!

You don't get salts that build up on the actual bucket? Or is that something that means I'm adding to much nutes? Also, how much nutes do you use? I have heard people say with dwc you only use 1/2 strength. And a final question. What type of nutes do you use?

I'm impressed with your system. i'm running a 10 gal rubbermaid tub along with another 5gal bucket all dwc. been thinkin about doin the scrog thing but havn't seen a simple setup that i liked yet. think i'll try your method, seems simple and effective. Nice grow kindone. I'm going to grow some chuck-d next cycle which is an OG cross. I got some from the kid I'm getting the clones from and it's pretty awesome.....very heavy. So good luck and enjoy the snow we just got.

I have never had a nute problem ever in hydro.You should google the lucas formula and check it out, Very simple, hard to fuck up , cheap, and works great. I use general hydro flora series micro and bloom. 8 ml micro per gallon of water and 16ml bloom per gallon of water. Thats it, simple.

Thanks for checkin in joint p , you should def try a scrog man they can help increase yield greatly if done properly. Stick around I'll have a screen full of frosty nugs soon I promise.

In DWC you want to start out 1/4 strength and if you dont see any nute burn gradually work your way up to full strength.. If you do get nute burn you can easily just do a res change.

I like to Veg 400-600 PPM in Flower I try and stay under 1000 PPM 800-1000 PPM works for me.

Week 1 flower.Startin to mash the screen and stank. My mother in law watches my kids a couple days a week and the last two times she came in the house she was like " what is that smell in your house I just can't pin it" I think that means its time to hook up the filter.

Na man, she's cool. I don't think I could piss her off if I wanted to. About a month after I married her daughter we rode with them to a cousins wedding. Long story short, few bottles of red wine, I puked in the back seat of her jeep liberty because the damn window switch is in the center , even in the back seat, and I was faced. She was so cool and has been about ever since. But definetly, already put the filter on. As for that screen fillin up, usally the second week of flower my shit stretches mucho so I am expecting that'll do it.

I've just been removing leaves that cover other buds or are too crowded. And everything below the screen of course. Even though my humidity is low and the ventilation is awesome, I was getting a little condensation from leaves that were packed together too tightly.

Week #2 flower, my scrog is suckin hind tit this time around and I don't know why. Seems like I am not getting the stretch I want. Everthing is growing out to the same length under the screen and bunching up like panties.I am going to take teddiekgb's advice from another thread and train for another week, the next few days I am going to try and clean it up a bit and push the tops through their holes where I want em. My last couple rounds I have been out of town for the 2nd - 3rd week of flower and my shit stretched like a SOB, so I ended up just taking the tops and bending them over so they didn't reach the lights. Turns out this a version of the technique supercropping as most of you already probably knew, and it worked fucking great. Each one I bent got a purple stem,dense as hell, and grew big. So after I get the scrog handled I will be trying some supercropping. I still have some homework to do on the subject but I am def sold on it. Anyone have advise on a scrog/supercrop?

How old are these gals?

I vegged for 20 days and today is week two flower.
