126W Penetrator LED Bloom Test

I've got to say. After all the waiting on LEDgirl for a follow through. All I've heard so far is criticism's of others lights and v v little evidence of what just 1 of her lights can do on it's own. The only evidence so far is what a mate of hers light has shown... which was impressive but it's impossible to believe it until more independent reports of her light come in. Would not be buying her light of the back of that evidence. Looking like this LED test has gone up in smoke. What a wasted opportunity and I am now starting to seriously question her credentials/light. I think I'll stick with my procyon thankyou v much. It's working v nicely so far.

Ok.. fair enough. she could at least have posted here to say she is moving on and others are testing. Some of us were following to see what progress was being made and since she is very critical of other peoples products would have been good to have a final word from her (And some proof!). This is the 2nd site I have seen her abandon/ousted from. Whatever the case... I'm outta here... annoys me I've wasted as much time as i have "following" this crap. Fuck it. Onto something more interesting.

Yeah man... why I keep checking back here I have no idea. I have seen her now floating around another site as hydroled or something. I call her (or is it a bloke pretending to be a bird?) out as a fake with not a leg to stand on. I can't comment about other lights but if you're interested... my tests with procyon are going v v well. I like it v much. I also would suggest people check out the dutchgrowlights I mentioned earlier in the thread. They do look the business and I hear excellent results... with none of this LEDgirl bullshit. Oh i forgot to say.. from what I could see... the test "she" started here was over on another forum. Some of the plants stretched and basically looked bad and "she" gave up the test. Do your research but don't expect to be impressed. I wasn't! If it's too good to be true... it normally is!

I am a member on another Forum, and it is true, she ended her Journal prematurely citing various excuses.
To paraphrase her, the plants were growing weird. It's inconclusive whether or not it was the lights or some other factor, regardless it's another failed attempt at showing a grow, from seed/clone-to-harvest, with LED technology.
To date, irishboy, is the only member I've seen complete a Journal using an LED with inspiring results. It was accomplished using ProSource units. It's obvious that the technology is making improvements.
After contacting both LEDgirl and ProSource, with legitimate questions regarding warranty, I would never purchase anything from HydroGrowLED (LEDgirl's 'company'). It's very possible that the LED panels being offered from HydroGrowLED work well, but LEDgirl has no class and lacks the ability to properly communicate with people - this is the reason she has been restricted on various online Forums, not because of prejudice or mistreatment.
That being said, there are some independent grow tests now underway and the outcomes will speak for themselves. This will put to rest any questions regarding the ability of these lights to produce results as claimed by manufacturers. Independent test grows will be worth watching, to see what these lights can do without the skepticism surrounding 'grows' presented by the manufacturer.
Personally, I believe that LEDs are on the cusp of producing HID-comparable results, and in the hands of some great growers on RIU, that's very exciting!

The crap LED you buy for $35 to $80 are crap! The bad thing about the LED testing in the past was either with homemade or the cheap LED bulbs made in some weird place. Irishboy is doing a good test right now and it looks like it will do pretty decent. (yes these are made in China) On the other site Rumple is doing a test on one too. He is like myself we normally grow with HID or HPS. Myself I am doing a test on a completly different LED. I do not go around talking crap about things, I have not ever used before. Maybe some people should just sit back and watch to see what the outcome produces then talk all the CRAP. Maybe go smoke some and chill out. Hope on the harley take a long drive and mellow out man. Speaking of riding I FROZE me ass of today. Damn, it is winter time!

I see HydroGroLed aka Ledgirl aka Cammie has now been banned from pretty much all the other sites too!
It never ceases to amaze me how some people will spend hundreds of dollars on a totally unproven product. I guess they are like Fox Mulder - they want to believe.
I can't help thinking that the lights would stand by themselves if they were as good as touted. All the haters would then be silenced, but alas it has not happened yet. 2g/watt is still a fantasy.
I'm now looking forward to seeing Irish's results in the hydro-Prosource comparison blog.

She is on ICMAG and its not surprise, most people arent mature enough to discuss LEDs. She has plenty of test grows going over there, she sent 4 different mods on that site free panels for testing, yea its definitely a scam

I've been using them for vegging my plants prior to putting them into my HPS flower room, and they seem to work just fine for me.
There are LED units that work, but just as LEDGirl said before, that cheap chinese crap is what most people buy and accounts for most of what you see.

Exactly, she has done a lot to stand by her product. I have been waiting patiently for well built LEDs to come around. Here research seems sound and she is focused on growing MJ with them.

This thread took an interesting shift. Prior to finding this I had read the IC threads as well of a few others. This forum has the seasoned vets to help us noobs and not just a bunch of teens screwing around.
From reading some of led girls other stuff I was ready to get myself one. However with seeing a thread like this answers the question I was seeking an answer to. That is simply are LEDs good enough for the average garden. It is a shame the answer is still no.
Lets see what 2010 has for us. In the meantime kudos to the critics here but there is no need to be an ass about it. The science behind this is great but there are going to be a few bumps along the way.
