thanks! 250 i think from a local hydro store...i am a reseller for Lighthouse Hydro (same guys that make BlackStar lights) and will be using their tents form now on, same exact tent actually seems a little more durable. If you need a good deal PM and i can help you get a good tent.

Today is the first full week of flower, i hope to see some hairs soon!

i am thinking i might need to re-pot these guys into 3gallon pots in a few weeks, any reason i shouldn't pot during flower? i know some people say to prevent stress but has anyone had bad results because they re-potted during bloom?

I transplanted two of my girls 16 days into flower and they are fine!!
I guess as long as no roots get broke it won't stress them too bad?

nice, thats what i wanted to hear! i posted a thread asking people what they thought of transplanting mid flower and of course its a bunch of "NOOOO" but 99% of the people only say it because they heard don't do anything to your plant when in flower but the reality is its a weed! and i didn't think transplanting would hurt to be honest it just doesn't seem to harmful...but i do want to know if anyone out there had a BED experience transplanting mid flower?

Shit looks mighty good my friend. Transplanting early in flowerin is fine as long as is a smooth transplant. I will be watching this grow. also i would pm you but i dont have that feture yet but if you could pm me i would like to talk about the lighthouse led lights as im lookin in to those lights and i see that thats what your using in one of your grows

So the 5x5 tent was getting crammed with 14 girls in there and I had ordered 2 blackstar 500 lights so I decided to make this interesting.

I moved 4 girls out of the 5x5 tent and into a 4x4 tent and will grow them with the 2 blackstar 500's. I am only 12 days into flower so it will still be a nice comparison! anyways 2 500's in a 4x4 is ridiculous to see...

Iinteresting power draw observation is when the blackstar's are hooked up the to "killawatt" meter to measure the current draw it is constantly fluctuating between 260-280. I believe this is because of the heat and the fans working constantly. these fans put off heat, the tent they are in is 5 degrees warmer than the other tent with the grow bars and HSS...

The (HSS) Haight Solid State 180watt panel with 6 watt chips also fluctuates at ridiculous levels 90-130watts, I am guessing it is because the light has no fans and the heat is sink is super hot causing the bulbs to jump all over the place.

The grow bars which are a different type of LED that i can not even explain stay at a constant 98 watts and do NOT fluctuate. This is because of their technology in heat mitigation, heat is the worst enemy of LEDs, and their driver technology that pushes their LED diode chips to the max. The grow bars are rated at 96watts and actually draw 98 watts! I am interested to see how the grow bars compare here and if they can grow good buds and have a good or better yield than what has been proven to work for LEDs.

I have had great grows with both the Blackstar and Haight Solid State panels. Now I want to see what the quality and yield is in comparison with these grow bars, thats the purpose of this grow...I already love the fact that less than 200 watts can cover a 5x5 area, many led panels can not effectively cover a 5x5 area with anywhere near that amount of wattage...these bars seem to be doing the trick!

and i agree it's a weed i treat my plants like dirty lilttle whores and they are still alive
ppl stress way to much here and listen to way to much bullshit you see experienced guys second guessing themselves cause someone said something haha.

i just get a pot stick my plant in and leave can't be fucked repotting
but treated my clones really bad and they still alive
and im a noob by the way so ignore at will haha.


those panels look fucking cool they got there own inbuilt fans?

I am so inspired by Leds just reading your thru your grow im excited just to see the results and im looking to get a tent and a led lamp soon i just need to figure sizes and Watts. im just not smart with leds yet,i only plan on growing my 6 (mmj patient) and i was wondering what do you feel would be a good Led for just 6 plants and what size tent.well any feedback would be cool and like i said Inspired by your grow. Keep up the good work.:joint::peace:

Yo what up Solar dude? So I decided to buy another Blackstar 500 and a 4 x 4 tent. Its on the way! 6 plants in a 4x4 tent 2 500 watters......Gangsta! Started flowering today at 21 inches. Hopefully I can grow them into monstas!

Do you think that is enough juice for 6 five foot tall OG Kush Plants? I heard they get up to 4 to 5 feet tall. And I was going to hit you up for a price, but I negotiated a partial sponsorship from Victor at Gotham, so I got hoooooked up big time!

Pics from yesterday! buds are coming along great!

I spotted a few patches of what i think is mold or a fungus...please help if you know what this might be and how I can fix it! I have fans and exhaust of 24/7 so I am kind of shocked there is mold....humidity stays around 40-50%

The 4 plants in the 4x4tent underneath the Blackstar lights seem to be less stretched and not growing in size as much but a little faster bud growth...I am comaring to the same strains in the 5x5 tent underneath the grow bars and HSS

solar guys whats up boss..Im interested in getting 2or3 blackstars but im hearing that the fans r really loud is this true as stealth is key i have a quantum 600w ballast now and its not to loud at all how do the LEDS compare in noise level??
