FUCKING SEEDS!!!

What the hell? This is a female plant, it has pistils everywhere, there was no male plants around this grow. Now all my lower buds are nothing but seeds..

A week or so ago, the power went out at my house, i dont know for how long but I had to re-set my timer, could this have caused enough stress to hermie up my plant and cause it to make seeds? I'm totally baffled here guys.. I need a lil knowledge dropped on me.

Anyways.. What should I do with this grow? let it go till the buds that are not seeded are done? make brownies? fuck, I dont know what to do.. this fucks everything up.. I almost cried when I saw these seeds.. I started noticing red hairs on a few of the bud sites and knew that it was way too early for that, but I didnt think anything else of it.. Now all those red hairs are attached to a seedpod..

This has never happened to me before.. out of 6 or 7 grows.. let me drop the F-bomb once again......FUCK!

I'm still really bummed out about this..

Once these seeds mature and start dropping off, will the plant resume normal flowering..?

My main cola is nothing but seeds, the others are about halfway up with seeds and more keep popping out.. I'm probably gonna trash this grow.. Sorry guys.. :cry: :cry: I'll be back up soon.. Starting some seeds soon in party cups.. Look out for the thread..

I havent even bothered taking pics of this grow anymore. just imagine a little bud and every single calyx on it is now a seed, so it looking like a big fat bud, but its really 20-50 seeds.. this is on every branch starting from the upper middle of the plants and getting worse as it gets further down.. slowly making its way up the plant..


So sad....so sad.

aww man, I'm really sorry to hear that...I wasn't expecting to read this bad news...must've hermied, always the risk with bagseeds sadly.

I'll check around for your next thread

Oh man really.....I'm very sorry, I feel for ya. Atleast you had many good grows before this happened, stupid power outages.... :( Better luck with your new babies.

Can't help but notice how well your plant was doing for just growing with CFL's....

How far away do you keep your CFLs minimum?

Looks like an impressive yield for 139 watts... How far do you keep your light away from your plant? Atleast 3 inches? I would think having those lights sideways would increase your yield even more.

as close as possble. not even an inch usually, the max would be 2-3 inches away. I love growing, you guys will see me again.. I'm working on getting an organic grow going, got a good lineup of organic ferts, just need to find a good medium, thinking coco..

Maybe I'm not using a large enough pot.. My yield has been pretty terrible (around 20 grams dry)... Although I don't PH anything and I'm using crappy synthetic fertilizer... I've been using at least 250watts of cfl as well... My side branches are usually miniscule in bud production as well.

You are flowering with cfl's too correct?

yes, two 42 watt 2700K cfls and one 55 watt 2700K cfl.. I started the grow with just the two 42s, and when i started flowering i added the 55.. To be honest I was only expecting 22 grams or less from this grow.. It was in a party cup until flowering and it was droopy (outgrown root space), so I put it in the biggest pot I could find..

but I'm happy to say, i'm done using miracle grow for nutrients.. and i got a huge can of this green light super bloom that i'm only gonna use to finish this grow and then NEVER use it again.. Might give it to my grandma for her tomatoes.. LOL

I've never transplanted before either, that could be a good reason I haven't had large yields.. I always just kept the male plants roots that I killed off in there... So that will give the plant less soil to work with.

I think having lights 3 inches + away really wouldn't hurt anything. I noticed you only seemed to use top lighting and it seems the bottom of your plant didn't suffer at all from lack of light.. Interesting.

Also I am using a Uv-B light for like 4-hours a day. Maybe it is stuning there growth? Next grow I want to start with fresh soil, and keep the light further away (4-5 inches) with NO UVB light influence... To see if it makes a big difference

hahaha, bro why are you freakin out. let me ask you a question, if you go on attitude or nirvana right now and order a 10 pack of feminized seeds how much is it gunna cost? at least $100. but these hermie seeds that you have will more than likely be ALL female. And your weed will still be just as chronic. Smoking it isnt going to make you gay or anything. why do people always freak out when theyre plant throws them a few feminized seeds? its a gift people.

a few? more like 1,000.. I was pretty freaked out though.. I'm gonna start new plants and let this finish out with less light in another room.. but every day, i see more and more new seeds.. I'm not sure about the feminized seed thing, I'm pretty sure these seeds will be worthless..
