And going to get some free worm tea this week from my local hydro store
Crunch time this last month!

Hi there.....when you finish up can you show us the rootball from them 10gal plants. I have always used the 3gal and when examining rootball it never reaches the sides of mine. I sure would love to see yours if you don't mind thanks....nice grow so far

And do u use Fabric
Pots cause those air prune the roots
So the roots don't hit the sides

I read the whole thread, and agree with you, 5 gallons is not enough all the roots in this pack of 10 strains hit the bottom of the buckets after 30 days. these photos are my first grow ever 2 years ago, so I was really nasty to these plants and kiled half of them with nutes, I found out auto do not like nutes, only rich soil. that was experience anyhow, now I'm doing photoperiods, and testing kc 45's to cross with a high cbd strain I have, but kc's are not true auto's so, I will have to start again later this year on that project. at 5 weeks old, in these photos, they had hit the bottom and were bound

Nice looking plants man and thanks for taking the time to read the whole thread.
And yes this was kinda a tester for me and to tell you the truth I did think they would completely fill the tens but now I know Forshur.
And Same here I have never given my plants chem nutes just some gunao
But I saw my buddy's plants and he is using maxsea some chem nutes kinda generic but his are Doug absolute great so I might try some small doses and see what happens.
I'm not a big nute guy either I'm always scared to burn and seem to get great results without.
But if I can do better I will with some nutes.

As far as the 10gal size - Here is one aspect that hasn't been touched on. As far as autos I'm no expert with 2, what I would call failed attempts. But soil pot size outdoors has a lot to do with heat on the roots. The roots of an auto might not reach the edge of the pot, but the insulation factor of the extra soil is a very beneficial factor. Over the yrs I've burnt up some plants via the roots.

doubletake I'm on my 3rd auto attempt, I may have a question or 2 if you don't mind.

And yes extra soil in the pots has been saving my ass these arnt right in my back yard so I go like every 3 days, the ones I did in 5 gallon fabric pots all pretty much died cause I couldn't keep up with watering.

I'm using these new tan smart pots 45s for my main season plants and I think I'm loving g those cause the heat dosnt really build up on the roots cause it's a tan pot!

Way better then the black plastic I'm using now on a 90 degree day they got to be pushing 110 on the pots! And that's def no good.

10 should be more than enough to get several ounces off of each plant easily if you have your conditions correct.

I know this thread/post is a few mobths old but from exp you dont need anything over a 3gallon pot! Def no need for 10 or 15 gallon!!!!

CLEARLY SOMEONE WAS READING WEBSITES THAT SAID BIGGER POT MEANS BIGGER PLANT BUT I VAN TELL YOU FROM EXP THAT SOME AUTOS WILL STAY AT 12INCHES AND YOU JUST SPENT A SHITLOAD OF MONEY ON A 1000 GALLON POT AND WERE NOT EVEN TALKING ANOUT THE AMOUNT OF WATER OR NUTES IT WILL TAKE TO PROPERLY FEED THAT AMOUNT OF DIRT!! im glad you think its funny


im sure he will get a laugh when he runs out of room to store all the bud he has

haters are gonna hate

but the way i see it he doesnt have to feed if he doesnt want to and he will still pull atleast twice or 3 times what your 3 gal does

Oh believe I dont HATE AT ALL BUT YOUR NOT GOING TO PUT AN AUTO INTO A 100 GALLON POT AND GET A 6FT PLANT!!!! NOW THER ARE A FEW STRAINS THAT WILL GROW HUGE BUT 90% WILL NOT GROW TO THAT SIZE BECAUSE IT IS NOT IN THER DNA!! SORRY ITS NOT POSSIBLE. WERE NOT TALKING ABOUT PHOTOPERIOD PLANTS HERE.

Ill just get the fire dept to come watwr the house for me. Shouldnt be a problem right? I mean i saw it on the internet! Commme ONNN GUYS LETS GET SERIOUS HERE!!!
