15 minute dark cycle interruption

My plants are in week 7 of flower. My dark cycle is from 8:15pm to 8:15am. This morning when I checked the plants at 8:30am, the lights were off and thought the timer goofed, totally forgetting last night was spring ahead time change and turned in the lights.

15 min later after turning them on I realized it was spring ahead and I turned on the lights about an hour too early so I went and shut them off, waited till 9:15am and then turned them back on and fixed the timer to continue 12/12 from 9:15am to 9:15pm.

My question is, will their be an issue by turning the lights on, one hour earlier for 15 min, shutting it off for 30 min than turning them back on again at this now new 12 hour light cycle?

I am hoping it won't be an issue since I've read that it takes a few consecutive days of 4+ hours of additional light to switch the hormones back to veg, but I'm concerned with them going hermie.

its just one day nothings gonna happen
Hey Haze, thank you so much. I was a bit concerned because this grow is "high times magazine quality" (so ive been told). It was my first winter indoor grow, and the purple and pink colors are amazing and they are super dank. Hate to lose this crop.

You will be fine. I have done similar things in past grows. I also would leave the timers alone. I go from 8AM to 8Pm to- 9AM to 9PM today.

A couple of photos showing your plants would be great

I figured I would share photos of the fruits of my labor.

I wouldn't call them "High Times" quality, but I think the colors are beautiful.

This is my second grow, a winter grow of clones taken from my very first grow from last October harvest. I have 4 or 5 weeks till this harvest.

I'm in week 7 of flower. I'm wondering if I should stop nutes. I stopped nitrogen two weeks ago, stopped micronutes last week, and I've been giving them bloom, and phosphorus

Yep- with 4 weeks to go I would cut off all nutes about 2 weeks prior to chop. It varies no? But without a plan of some sort we then become a part of someone elses plan.

I am still not sure when I will harvest and some plants may get cut before others..........so we are kinda in the same boat here

The plants need a confirmed schedule to go by- ha

10 to 12 weeks adds up after a number of grows. I want 5 or 6 weeks -but wanting is not getting as a rule............ I can remember not long ago when I was harvesting at 6 weeks from flip on dominant Sativa plants under HID lights. An unknown strain...... but I know where it still grows.

I had no one to consult with at the time but the product was great. I just cut a couple of buds from these latest plants last night for smoke (out of curiosity).

I am not planning on 3 months of flowering every grow- jus sayin

Now that having my timer turning on at 9:20am and turning off at 9:20, it has posed an inconvenience to my personal schedule. It used to turn on at 8am and off at 8pm. My timer goes are 1/2 hour increments.

If I offset the timer by 30 min back to 9 to 9, I think it will turn off 30 min sooner, making the dark cycle 12 hours and 30 min for that 24hr period, then 12/12 the day after. Then if I bring it back another 30 min to 8:30, same, another 30 min of additional darkness.

If I continue this every other day fornthe rest of the week, I can get it back to 8am to 8pm.

Does this cause any issues? Who recommends to do this or don't touch!

Thank you.
