Hah, another female. Im 4/5 girls now, the only one not sexed is in the solo party cup where its going to stay. I bought a kill-a-watt today to play with, my cab is running me $8.50 a month including the fan. Not bad!

This is my only unsexed plant, yeah its weird to hope for a male, but I am! I only have about 30 of these beans left and want some more.

Pretty sure the party cup plant is a male, I see a tiny cluster forming. In the second pic above, the highest node you can see a tiny ball, thats where the cluster is forming. Theres no room for him in the cab so Im just going to cut most of his fan leaves off in a few days. I think the platinum clones are too far along to get seeded but thats ok.

I love to tinker, discover, test, compare, improve and all in the name of fun. Im always trying to find better ways to do things, which in my book has to include easier, to be better. Anyways I wanted to see how a couple plants will fare with all of their fan leaves removed. I know cutting leaves doesnt equal easier, but if I can keep the size down then I can get better penetration and possibly hold another plant or two. These babies grow like clones, so I think its a fair comparison. I cut one of the largest plants and one of the smallest as well. Lets see how they do!

I didnt see enough difference between the plants to say the fan leaves were needed, and I needed more space so the other plants got cut too

Everyone got the bathtub soak this morning. I give them a full soaking every now and then out of the cab. All got a dab of superthrive as well!

Those platinum clones are budding up more than I expected, they were in sad shape and went straight into 12/12 with no recovery. I got some pics to add but got to get the kids off the computer first!

This is my first grow 12/12 from seed so I don't know what to expect! A half oz per plant would put me in the .5 gpw range and what I'm shooting for.

If you read really carefully I bet somewhere in there it mentions that they don't really do 12/12 straight from seed...that they give the new sprout a couple days and then move it over...

I know that..I just have noticed when reading through them, most mention letting clones and seedlings have a few days of full light...your plants look really good though so no worries!
