150 watt hps for small grow area questions

ok so my grow box is roughly 5.5sqft without anything inside it. adding in my light traps and current lighting (8cfls) theres about 4.5-5sqft. my last grow back in the winter was disappointing to say the least i used cfls and eventually just ended up pollinating so i could have a supply of seeds for the summer. id like to start back up indoors again, and use the box as a mother/ clone grow for the end of winter into spring and then start breeding as winter approaches again. im thinking a simple 12/12 from seed but with a sog will give me a variety of phenos to pick from and ill be able to play around with genetics. but i also want to bud some so i can sample my results as i go. i like taste, high yields, trichome production and density. i was going to use t5ho bulbs for aquariums that only emit the nm that plants use for photosynthesis but thats getting expensive. id need 8 bulbs just to get into the min amount of lumens needed. so i was thinking id go with a 150 Watt HPS. heres my issue now. my ventilation consist of a single pc fan (80mm) pulling air through the exhaust hole in the back of the box. i have a 120mm fan for circulation inside but will the heat from hps bulb be to much for me? i dont want to see temps over 82F

the box is located in a finished basement. the room its in usually has a paint fan or two running though, its my bedroom and i need white noise lol :eyesmoke:

I actually have two going, so a total of 300W of hps light in a 4 square foot area. Granted I have a 6" duct fan but my temps sit at 78-82 consistently. I think you will be okay, just get some dryer duct fan. As long as you exchange all the air twice per minute you shouldn't have to worry. It's better to have to much power than not enough and fry the girls
