150 watt hps??

hey guys i need your help on this one
for my next grow i was kinda thinkin about gettin a 150 watt hps and have cfl's on the side of the plant
i cant get a 250 hps cuz it will be way too hot and i cant afford it
so do you guys think i will get much better light penetration or should i just stay with cfl's

hps bro i just got a secondhand 1 with an 400w hps and an 400w mh blub for $50 works great bro have a look around i had a few girls under 150w cfl for a month as soon as i got the hps it grew twice as big in 4 days hps bro the only way to go!!!!

it has an enclosed ballast thats ok right cuz its only 150 watts

Ed, think 2x2 or 2.5x2.5 max with that 150, you didn't give your size. That 150 is also going to generate lots more heat than the CFL's that you are using. Think ahead and make plans for cooling in your budget.
