Hi peeps,

I'm currently growing a single plant which has just started to flower and was wondering would a 250w mh be better than a 150w hps?

Reason being is that i just carn't find the time to get a 250w hps bulb for the ballast due to working long hours mon-sat.

I do have 4, 25w 2700k to supplement the Mh with,

Any advise would be great!

Peace:bigjoint:

hps bulbs are use more for vegging id use the 4 mh bulbs but if possible space them out like 2 on top and one on each side to get more bud on the sides thus gettin more bud from a singal plant

i think the more wattage you use the better, i would go with the metal halide for that reason / you may choose the lower powered hps because the yellow light it emits is better for the flowering stage just a thought you could try ............... use the halide bulb for say first three weeks of flowering(during this time plant still growing aswell as flowering, it would like the bluer light) then when growth has stopped hit it with the sodium bulb on say week 4 - may be worth a go but ive never tried it - i flower with a 600 hps & a 250mh - either way - good luck :)
