I hate when I think I find out what will work the best then I find something better. So in the end it just boils down to what you want? Since they both out out about 15,000 each?
Ok, i didnt want to complicate it but when you see lumen ratings this is just how bright the bulb is to the human eye, 6700k puts out less lumens then 2700k because less of the spectrum is visible to the human eye, yet the plant doesnt see the same difference in light intensity as your eyes because they "see/use" different spectrum. If you really want the best for your plant then you need to familiarize yourself with photosynthetically active radiation (par), how much par is lost from depth of height ect. Ill say straight up, both bulbs will grow and flower a plant but the cfl will cost more to do so unless you have to A/C your grow. When it comes to kelvin values, 2-4k is good for tall lanky growth and great for flowering
5500-8k is good for tight short growth. There is no such thing which is better. It depends on tpur grow method. I hope i pushed you in the right direction. Go rape google now! You need it!
