I have a 15x15 indoor grow room that I am setting up. I am going to order 4 1000 watt hps. I have all the other necessary stuff for the grow fans, timers etc. I would love to pull 15 to 25 pounds. I have really good genetics and strains. Do any one here think that it is in any way or shape possible? and what is the that type of grow where u grow like 50 small plants and get alot more or somthing??

That's 4000W, nowhere even close to enough for a 15x15 room, and you'll be lucky to pull 15-16 lbs, that's if you are experienced at growing which with these questions i am guessing you are not, which is fine, you came to the right place

I'm very experienced with outdoor growing have done it every season for the past 12 years. I have no idea about indoor growing. I also have a 10x8 grow room 10 foot long 8 wood wide bout 10 foot tall would that be more suitable? I could also get multiple 600 watts instead of 1000s to even it out boss

50-75w per square foot for hps. If your main goal is weight youll want on the higher end of that.
the 4000w would be more suitable for the 10x8 but thats still only 50w/sqft

I use a 4x4 footprint for my hps.

15x15

3 rows of 3 for 9 ballasts would be how I would do it. Then your gonna need some a/c though.

4 x 1000W DE Gavita Pros would be more suitable for your 8x10 room, however 10ft is verging on the low end for head height, depending on table height. I had a similar size room with a 12ft ceiling and it worked well with 4x fixtures pushed. Was running 8.5kW of AC to deal with thermal...lights, humidifier, dehumidifier, fans, exhaust for timed venting etc etc..as well, sealed room co2 enriched.

Definitely not enough for a 15x15.

Here’s an article for some guidance: :peace:
