Greybeardz: I havent needed a scrubber yet. But Ive seen folks cover one end of the t-trap with duct tape and the other with a diy micro carbon scrubber. And I dont have them fastened together. I actually dont see any use for it.

T@ll T33: You want the 12v kind.But you can probably use any old adapter. I went new though


mazook98:I did 3 weeks veg but should have done at least 4 . I topped after the 5th node. I tied down and pinched the new shoots too allow the other branches to grow up to the canopy. I used paperclips to hold them down or pull them out while being trained. When I made my bush I put it in flower expecting the shoots too double in size like scrogs. This strain didnt stretch at all. After 3 weeks flower I released all bondage and all the training became permanent.

There like twenty bucks. You could very easily go to a goodwill or thrift store or garage sale and buy some cheap electronic gadget with adapter. I wanted a new one though.

Good thing is the computer fan and adapter and trich microscope are all by each other at radio shack.

Did you do any training or fimming of the plants? So with your set up, is it a passive intake on the bottom back of the bottom rubbermaid, and the active outtake is on the top back of the top rubbermaid? If that makes sense.

I Only topped once . Then I tied down the mains so the lower branches would grow up alongside the lights.

My passive intakes are on the sides. At a height above my 1 gal pots

I think a better mod for your intakes would be to go with the darkroom louvers on the rear or sides of the bottom box.(still above the pots though) Therefore you increase the stealth and still not lose any grow area in the process. Ive seen a few cats with those and they look sweet.

This looks great! A couple of questions;1) Is that a fan lying at the bottom of the box? 2) How do you secure the boxes together? Is it hinged, or does it just sit on top? I have a few plants in seedling and am going to set this up. I guess I have another question, is painting the inside necessary, or could I line the inside with Panda film or Mylar?

I bet you could switch out the bottom for a diy aero grow with the same setup...i might try it

captainbud:That is a fan on the bottom. I put it between my plants so it pulls cold air to the top. Good for deflecting some of the heat off your plants. But mostly for bringing cold to hot. Fan was from walmart.

I dont have anything holding them together. Some people use pop rivets. Some people put weather strip on there also. I was going to do it. But then i realised it wasnt needed.

Mylar works great inside. I would do that or white paint. Probably the most reflective. Remember we are keeping the lights to a minimum to control heat.

output dc 9v 500ma

its and old telephone power cord spliced with 2 wires

you think this would work for a 120cm cpu????

most of the fans are 12volt if you run 9v of power you would be running at 75%. Thats better than overloading too much power that the fan couldnt handle

can ya post a pic . as long as your not over 12v i dont think there will be a prob
