175 watt mh/150 watt hps questions

I am just starting my grow room, and have had it set up for a day testing temps and what not. I have two questions.

I have 2 lights and im growing 2 plants. The box is 2x4x5.

Should the 175 mh be fine for vegging alone? and the 150 hps fine for flowering alone? or should i run both lights at the same time throughout the grow?

with both lights on the temp holds at around 83, and with just the mh it stays at 79-80.

I would say use the MH for veg and the HPS for bloom, esp. to keep the temps at 80 max.

I would use the 175 watt MH for veg and both of the lights for flower. Good luck

The added wattage of both lights during bloom should kick the plant into high gear for producing bud provided you are giving it the proper nutrients for high gear.

ditto tom and wyteberry...mh to veg and both to flower.

I would use both through the whole thing.I've heard people get some good results that way.
