so will they flower slower in 24/0 than 12/12. or maybe im thinking of preflowering

autoflowers begin flowering because a hormone inside them tells them to. it is not regulated by sunlight like normal plants but instead by time. if you put them on 24/0 they would flower much faster than 12/12 because they are getting more light. why are you trying to slow down/stop flowering?

Not gonna happen. Auto flowering plants get to a certain age and start flowering regardless of what light cycle you have them on. You could have had them on a 24 hour light cycle and they would have flowered regardless. My advice is to get non-auto flowering seeds next time if you want them to grow bigger. You have way more control.

Then the bud you got it from was an auto flowering strain cause non-auto's don't flower on 18/6 light cycle. Regardless if you got it from a bag or bought them you'll need to find some seeds that are not auto flowering for you to grow them bigger then what this one has. You won't be able to stop it from flowering. Sorry.

Well he has it on 18/6 and it's flowering. Thats a good indicator it is an auto flowering strain.

well. i'm putting it in 12/12 now.. hopefully it will flower faster

listen goto you don't have auto flowering plants. you have regular bagseed from the O you bought . noproblem. Keep them at 18/6 for as long as you want to veg them for. Then go ahead and move lights to 12/12 for flowering.

i guess you could call it bagseed. but it came from grapefruit. are they worth vegging longer? growth seems to be pretty stagnent... and its flowering but isn't getting any bushier for the past 2 weeks in 18/6. so im thinkin just 12/12 it and be done with it.

well that depends on how much grow room u have and how big u want them
if there flowering now imagine the plant 2 maybe three times the size of what it is now and think do i have enuff room?

Where ever you change your lighting from 18/6 or 24/0 to 12/12 your plants are gonna grow three times the size. untill they are done.
